A big requirement for any minecraft server particularly one with mods is RAM, the i3-3217U should be powerful enough for 10 players, another important factor is making sure you have enough bandwidth, this is quite a useful site http://canihostaminecraftserver.com/

If you have nothing to hide, would you allow police officers to search you at any time? Strip search? Would you feel it is a violation of your privacy to be strip searched at their whim? We keep hearing about how mass surveillance will keep us safe, yet they have yet to show any tangible evidence that it does. How many crimes have been predicted or prevented due to mass surveillance? How much money has been spent on this? What's the (essentially) return on investment?
These are questions that we need answers to, but from my understanding, it hasn't prevented any crime, they've spent a ton of our money on this, and based off those two factors, the ROI is 0.

JamesDwho reacted to XYrZbest in Corsair K70 & K95 RGB With Cherry MX Blues discontinued
this is upsetting news for me as well I had been looking for months for one, as blues are the only switches I will buy. called today they said it was due to popularity, total lie. I found it on an Australian website, not sure if they will actually ship me one or if they just have it say that they have them available.  http://www.techbuy.com.au/p/373924/PC_GAMING_PRODUCTS_GAMING_KEYBOARDS/Corsair/CH-9000061-NA.asp I hope they bring them back. I have been needing a new keyboard for over a year now and have been waiting since the announcement last year. Long time corsair customer and am very disappointed. While it is cherry fault because of the switches, I think that this whole thing was rushed to an announcement by corsair, to get the RGB hype train moving, you can see what it has done to the pc gaming peripheral market, and for them to be able to say that they were the first ones to do it. I mean they delayed it multiple times, the software was buggy at first and still is with little improvement, the logo at last second was a dirty trick.

Every once and a while a product is announced with no hype to it, it comes out and waits for people to take a look at it. The people realize how great of a product it is, how perfect it is... The product came from the ground up to get to this place, from the bottom and is now the go to for the best. The Corsair K70/K95 RGB is an example of exact opposite, it had everything going for it. Looked beautiful, great build quality and reputation, first in the game for RGB, so much hype surrounding it, and corsair absolutely destroyed it.

I don't see why/how this option made it to work but what ever it works

Thanks a lot for all the help.

    This so much.

Netflix OFFERED - FOR FREE (let that sink in for a moment) to provide all of those ISP's with caching systems on-site, inside the ISP network. They refused. They pressured Netflix into agreeing to pay for these so-called "fast-lanes". They should relabel them to what they actually are: "same speed as before but now we charge you a bunch-lanes".

The FCC is full of shit here. If they had been doing their job, Netflix would never have needed to resort to this "fast-lane" crap.

All looks fairly good to me, no real issues when it comes to the hardware, I would change some things if this was my build just out of personal preference but everything you've got there is fine. One issue I do have with the build though is the WiFi Card. I've dealt with WiFi cards like that one quite a lot and they usually are very poor performing and are very sensitive high temperatures particularly in an Australian Summer. I would suggest ditching the WiFi card because WiFi is utter garbage for gaming and instead get a $50-$60 PowerLine Ethernet kit, you will have significantly more LAN bandwidth at your disposal and also have significantly lower latency (ping) and packet loss. If you're unfamiliar with powerline ethernet basically instead of using WiFi and the heavily congested 2.4Ghz frequency you instead a Wall Socket PowerLine Ethernet kit that will use the electrical wiring in the walls to transfer data, the performance is much closer to that of an actual UTP Ethernet cable when compared to WiFi but without the need to actually put wiring in the walls.

JamesDwho reacted to GoodBytes in How noticable is response time.
Response time is B.S value, and they tell you. You will see that they refer in the fine prints, or next to "response time", g-t-g, or "g-to-g". This means gray-to-gray. In other words, every company has it's own way to measure response time (like the actual process). Moreover, as the fine print says, the response time is the time the monitor panel takes from changing a color to another... in this case, gray to gray. But which gray? That's exactly it... nothing says that it can't even be the same gray color (see 1ms).
TFTCentral, an in depth monitor site, shows this, and you can see it from any of their monitor review. For the sake of example, I am showing a bit of 2 extremes to show the impact more visible. The first one, the Dell U2410, is a super fast IPS monitor, quite impressive, possible one of the fastest. It was a 750$ monitor. The other one is a BenQ is a somewhat early 120Hz monitor, so TN, which what it looks like a 60Hz monitor overclocked, and not a true 120Hz.
    So, lets compare:
-> Dell U2410 - true 8-bit IPS panels, 6ms response time, 1920x1200. Note: the more pixels rows the monitor has, the slower the response time, as the LCD monitor refreshes from the top to the bottom, row by row. Hence why you have tearing in a fact action scene or game if V-Sync is off. Just something to keep in mind.

-> BenQ XL2410t - 120Hz TN panels, 1ms response time, 1920x1080. So this monitor has everything on its side to be fast.

Well.. someone is lying quite a bit... I think you can see who...
And for kicks, here is a third example, ViewSonic VX2739WM, TN panel 1920x1080, 60Hz, 2ms response time.

Not very 2ms to me, compared to the 6ms from Dell.
So, it is important to read in depth review to get the real response time of the monitor.
