Hey guys, first post on this forum. MSI RMA has not been kind to me folks.
Let me give you some background.
I’ve bought a Stealth Pro GS73VR ($2700) in December of 2016.
A few months later, the hinge of the screen broke and I had to get it RMA’d.
This took 3 months.
Days after I got it. It black screened. Nothing.
Sent it in again. They said there was water damage and they sent me a bill for $1200!!!
There was NO water damage. After a long email. They fixed it. Took another 3 months.
I got it back, the audio ports and network ports didn’t work. I had it for about 6 months. Then the hinge broke again!
I’ve been in contact with a man named James Yu. I sent it back in November. The tracking number says they received it. But the online RMA status wasn’t updated.
It also says that the RMA will be complete in 1970!! I called, they said they would email me back. Lol yea nope, they didn’t.
I contacted James Yu and he said there was water damage and that he sent me email which he didn’t…
I sent him another long email in February. It’s been 3 weeks and no reply. I am an IT student and every class I have requires a computer. I have to bus an hour and half to the campus in order to use a computer because I currently don’t have one.
They have actually had the laptop more than I have since I bought it.
I don't know what to do guys. I've heard MSI RMA was bad but this is something else...
