I'd get an SSD first as it'd be the biggest noticeable performance improvement. Everything else is more or less fine.

100% sure, i've done research on how to upgrade your macbook air with an m.2 ssd, and you need an adapter like this to make it work:

they honestly won't win back the market with APUs. Like they said on the wanshow, it feels like AMD is in that kind of spot where they focus on the low end and gave up on the mid to high end which is really unfortunate (and it seems to be slowly becoming the case for gpus too...).

probably not worth the wait, and it will probably be months later (not june july) so if you can wait, why not but i wouldn't worry too much about the new generation.

i don't see why you would buy a 970 if you can have a 1070 for the same approximately the price

Just wanted to quickly show off my first mod. i had a GTX 470 with a stock cooler from PNY lying around and I wanted to do something special with it so I created this. The top reads GTX 470 in Aurebesh, the written characters of basic (English). Its got its imperfections but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. If anyone has an recomendations for an easier way to spray paint letters let me know, cause it took me about an hour to carve those letters out of masking tape . EDIT: Sorry for the potato photo quality

My room mate's K95 Vengance series keyboard didn't come with a right foot, so we decided to fix that!
 
We went to our local maker space and 3d printed some feet for his keyboard, check it out!

You can't update your firmware unless you allow samsung to collect data from you.
I can only find non-english sources about it so you might need to translate it

There are a lot of other options out there that are worthy alternatives so personally i would get something else, but in the end you decide.

what kind of benchmark is "various 2160p benchmarks" or "pc games hardware"
this definitely seems like BS
 
especially since pretty much ALL REAL REVIEWERS such as LTT, jayztwocents, hardware canucks, etc... all show that the 1080 does NOT throttle
also that it is better than 980 SLI, 980ti, and titan X by more than just a bit

Yeah, read the link the OP posted. Next to "Standard Hard Drive" it says HD Interface and says it's proprietary. Not to mention that it's not correctly keyed to a B or M m.2 pin layout lol

probably won't work (see linus' whole room water cooling).
