  1. the last couple of phones i used were all on custom roms since for me they are much better overall and i don't really care for "pay" services.
  2. I thought there are more ROMs for the snapdragon since it was better supported by drivers, or it isn't true anymore?
  3. i don't see why you would buy a 970 if you can have a 1070 for the same approximately the price
  4. i think there are 1080p for about a hundred, you should really do some research about that.
  5. I would really go for a 1080p monitor though...
  6. if you already used the key to install windows on a machine you can't reuse the key (but you still can use the cd probably). He akready has a cd it seems.
  7. please use a more descriptive title for threads.
  8. by googling installing windows. Basically you create a bootable drive (cd or usb) and you install windows from it. But for that you need an activation key. You can't transfer windows from one machine to the other.
  9. yeah and samsung isnt that cheap, that's my point.
  10. there are cheaper alternatives (kingston, ocz, sandisk etc...)
  11. I would suggest that you get the monitor first or at the same time.
  12. the cpu will probably not even bottleneck a 1080 in games, so definetly go for the gpu upgrade. BUT first of all you might want to wait for the benchmarks even if the cards seem good and secondly if you're playing in 1080p the 960 is already very good, so think, are you really ready to spend hundreds of dollars for a very small gain (unless you get a much better monitor).

    GPU

no point in having an i7, go for the 6500k (or non k if you wont overclock).
  14. get a better cooler and as already said if you're only gaming i5 is enough.
  15. of course the new one is better than the old (although it might change with next generations, i know). The real question is it worth the money?
  16. is ts using the at2020?
  17. your gpu will probably be bottlenecked by your cpu. Dual core is really not enough in many games nowadays.
  18. there is no card that can run the demanding AAA games at 4k on highest settings, and starcitizen is a very demanding game (and not fully optimized yet).
  19. i don't think you'll have the horse power to run it at 4k
  20. bottle necking in games is almost always cpu and gpu bound. The ssd will only allow to load system, games and programs a lot faster (basically your loading screens will be a lot shorter).
  21. you need to get into your router config (and just the brand doesn't help). You should be able to find it in your manual or on the internet pretty easily, but like Railgun said you need to know what you're doing because it opens many vulnerabilities.
  22. your whole system will feel (and be) faster, no fps improvement though.
  23. there are differences in pcb but i don't think they impact performance that much, although more expensive cards tend to overclock a little bit better i think.
  24. luke actually prefers the blues if i recall correctly ^^ (linus too)
