  1. check the load on your components (gpu, cpu and ram) but it's probably the gpu having a hard time as you said yourself in "intense" scenes.
  2. dual monitor is really practical though. You could also go for an ultrawide.
  3. yeah but that means your pc went somehow through the frame, that's what i'm not understanding x)
  4. yeah but again, do you want 1080? 1440? 4k? other than that an ips panel should do it.
  5. what do you really want? resolution, response time, frequency?
  6. a good motherboard will work well with a cpu. They don't simply "work well together"
  7. filters and positive air pressure. Having fans always on will only build up more dust...
  8. how the hell did you manage to take the cpu out of the metal frame? x)
  9. yeah it will beat it, but probably not by too much. Then you have a lot of problems with SLI. And financially the 980ti isn't cheaper since he can resell his.
  10. probably won't work (see linus' whole room water cooling). your only real solution is to put the computer in another room.
  11. first wait for the new GPUs. Second if you don't plan on overclocking don't buy the K versions. 3) there's no point in futureproofing. Buy what you need now. 4) for the mobo again, depends if you overclock and the features you need.
  12. any ATX case will cool just fine And i would't recommend a SLI but rather upgrade.
  13. the brands never sell their products themselves. But i warn you, importing is not that easy and you'll probably pay taxes on arrival so you should check that (unless you lie on the value of the package, but it's risky). In the end I would wait for retailers to post official prices.
  14. 1080 is getting a LOT for VR, so I think you'd really get a lot by finding a way to purchase it.
  15. you sure about that? it's seems weird and I thought I saw ssd replacement for macs with normal ssds...
  16. if you're not overclocking there's no point in going for the K processor. Save some money.
  17. many new games won't even launch on a dual core (not sure about gra V though).
  18. check the type of m.2 of your ssd (B or M, by googling the serial number).
  19. check benchmarks for the gpu and you'll get an idea.
  20. Guys he said he formated it, so no need to reset it or anything (and by reformated it I understand did a clean installation of the system). Yes it is old of course and thus slow. Still you can try cleaning it (physically, ie disassembling it and cleaning all the dust, and maybe replacing the thermal compound). Is it worth the trouble is your decision to make though.
  21. without benchmarks nobody can give an answer to your exact question.
