  1. Custom liquid cooled all the way! But seriously, custom loops are really for enthusiasts, they can make future 'work' on your system a pain. All in ones & silent air coolers a niche too, but I feel comfortable building a system for a buddy/customer with an all in one or high end air cooler with no worries about future issues. Mom/dad/computer tarded family, stock coolers only! But for bragging rights, and us enthusiasts, everyone should have a custom loop at least once in their computer building history! 2. JesseL https://www.vessel.com/videos/MI7F0u2H8 (seen it on YouTube, but rewatched it for the great puns) https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0
  3. This would be great for a media pc in my living room!
  4. I have been collecting used parts to build a friend of mine a gaming PC (He is a lifetime console gamer) This would go nicely in his build!
  5. I have got a lot of good info from your video's and community. Keep it up, and may we see another million in the years to come.
  6. I like how you give a neutral opinion on options that the products have, and them give your .2c about how it applies to you. This is very valuable for 'shoppers' looking for facts about the hardware!
  7. I liked the mixing of good and bad qualities. Didn't dwell on good, and didn't dwell on bad, makes it sound like a more rounded review.
  8. Well with the computer being a BAMF, my monitors were lacking... had to step up my game! 3x 1440p monitors \o/ the main one I have oc'ed to 110hz, haven't tried the other 2 yet
  9. Up to 4.4 on cpu, but running into heat thresholds. (I'm stress testing cpu with both cards being fulling stressed @ the same time, AIDA64)
  10. oooo, that's a good idea... Would show more of the red sleeving and red scheme already inside.... I do have some white LEDs floating around somewhere....
  11. Self present after working alot of overtime. I am an HVAC tech @ our local hospital.
  12. I used 2x 8" cathodes up front for the glow. I don't like how it peeks through the crack... I wanna pull it apart and 'tape' off the outsides so you can't see it... but It's a major pain to get to
  13. Blame Imugr for the broken pictures.... grrr rage. SP on the push side, AF's on the pull side. She picked it. That one wasn't pink enough for her.
  14. I really didn't 'NEED' an upgrade, but I'm trying to get the wife into FFXIV, so I 'gave' her my old computer (had to stick it into a pink case) and built myself a new beast. It had a 5ghz i7 Sandy Bridge under water, except I moved the liquid system to my new comp, and gave her air, so back down to 4.3ish, didn't push it much. It's got a single 780 Asus Direct CU II 8gb memory @1600mhz Flaming pink wife's comp: Now for my beast! http://pcpartpicker.com/b/JmQ Got new stuff in mail... Started to strip out the cages and such to make more room Mocking up rads and mathing out what fittings I was going to need Tight fit... but got them monsters in there! With push pull fans.... The front one is a 80mm Monsta, and the top one is a 50mm Koolance rad. At this point I was waiting for my 2nd 780 and waterblock to come in the mail Soooo, I decided to sleeve my cables! 2nd card got here, got the waterblock on it, and more sleeving! Backside And after priming the system, letting the air work out of the system for a day or so... time to start ocin'!
  15. Gaming rigs are all about the gpu. But I cannot deny that form factor and 'sex appeal' are 2 things I love to see!
