  1. honestly both contents are interesting, so condense it in one channel and its easier for us to watch, you can do something like 2 videos a week, 1 for each.
  2. so i figured that i would use the case, HDD and PSU that i have here (came with a HP PC), and i would just only buy mobo RAM and CPU, then i could probably find a lga1150 pentium with a matx board. i think the case is for that size of mobo, would that be feasible??
  3. so my parents have a PC and its giving hardware problems lately, we sent the computer for repair it it kept doing the same thing. I don't want to deal with it anymore and i'm thinking to build a new PC for them, keep in mind that they only use the web browser and the occasional pdf and nothing more. i would like to know if this list of parts makes sense, keep in mind that i want a cheap pc that can run firefox/chrome and wont go on blue screen.
  4. i like those but i was thinking on the 7h since linus liked them but the reviews say that they break easily, so i dont know what to do :(, but the siberia v2 are a close runner up, thanks!!
  5. i have spent countless days looking for the perfect headset but i cant find any, i have looked on more than 7 brands and i cant find anything that i like, my budget is $80-$120 (USD), if you guys have any recommendations i would really appreciate it , if you can link to amazon or look for the prices there, or ebay, that would be best. i really liked the Razer Banshee and the logitech g430 (it goes with my g710+ and g9x), but i would really like and analog headset (3.5mm jacks for audio/mic). Thanks a lot!!
  6. well i was looking for specific features on the headsets, metal headband, rectangular earmuffs , braided cable, audio in/out (not usb), in line controls, and the logitech headset met all that, im not a audiophile, so with 40mm drivers i expect a decent quality. maybe someone can suggest another headset with the same features, i dont mind paying up to $80.
  7. so you think the G230 are a viable option for $50?
  8. yea that's what i though, the headsets are the same just different colors, although if i don't get the G430 i couldn't use the logitech software which i use for my G9x and G710+, and that would be a shame, but i cant find the G430 anywhere :'( (that ships to PR)
  9. Im thinking about buying a gaming headset and i want one of these 2. the main problem is that i can only get shipped the G230 (and its much cheaper than the G430). for what i've been researching the only difference between the 2 is the color and that the G430 comes with a 7.1 usb sound card. Could i buy the G230 and another usb 7.1 sound card and make the G230 7.1 surround sound? if that is true i dont see why pay $30 more for a usb sound card. Thanks
  10. thanks for the help, im processing all this new info, thats why i wanted to ask, ill post in a couple of days the route ill follow
  11. yea another possibility, i could buy an ivy bridge i5 quad core and overclock it with liquid cooling? would that be an viable option for gaming?
  12. my initial budget would be $900, as i said i plan to add parts. for now a $130 would be enough since i dont mind running games at low quality, i plan to updgrade in a year after i get the rig)the video card) (since i cant have $1200 right of the bat, and i would not like to do that)
  13. would 750 be enough? i was debating that same thing myself
  14. this is my first post om this website, i want to plan a build but first i would like to cover some points 1. i want to build a rig for gaming but i want it to look good (case cables etc.) 2. i dont want to build a beast, i plan to upgrade it in the future, meaning i want a nice case, good motherboard and cpu. everything else would be cheap for the moment as i can upgrade it later without problems. 3. im not looking for a budget i already did my research i its within my budget 4. the most important thing is that all the parts are compatible, i dont want to have any problems. ok my fist question, 1. whens the better time to buy a ivy bridge???? since the hasswell hasnt come out yet (i dont want a haswell) 2. i want a liquid cooling system, i dont want it outside the case ok now this is my planned build, i plan on adding an ssd, more ram a better video card, maybe a bluray mother board - msi z77a-g45 case - xpredator x3 cpu ivy bridge i7 quad power supply - ocz fatality 500W ram - corsair vengeance red hard drive - black caviar 500gb tarjeta video - nvidia geforce 6xx series optional - liquid cooling cooler master 120xl 1. also i would like to know if im missing any components 2. if the case is large enough to have liquid cooling inside (i already looked for photos) 3. also if you know a better component and cheaper that goes with the red/black theme that i should substitute i know its a lot to ask but any answers would be welcomed. thanks a lot!!!
