Coolslammer reacted to Arcanekitten in AMD Ryzen 5 and 3 Tested!
Could the LTT crew please listen to the community and stop with the retarded thumbnails and insane clickbait (although that vary's with videos some are worse than others).
We get it that it get's you guys more money but simply faking a title is wrong.
I liked it when the thumbnails represented the product or the topic more like they did a year ago.
This video has a intriguing title and a good Thumbnail. This more recent one sucks, Photo shopped asf and is ugly, not helpful at all.
Gives a good view of the product and is nice. I mean WHAT DO HOTDOGS HAVE TO DO WITH AN ALL-IN-ONE?!?
Or this thumbnail is really good! VS Then you have thumbnails like this one which have nothing to do with the
Topnotch camera work by brandon and the title just works. video itself.. Please.
Thumbnails that are not photo shopped are way better and the ones that are shouldn't be used it as it gives the video a way less professional look and is just plain annoying and anti-consumer.

Do you have proof?
If not then you're making slanderous comments about Linus.

Coolslammer reacted to StannieBoi in LTT episode recommendation: Electrostatic discharge damage myth
Please do an episode where you build a PC where you keep getting electrostatically charged and just touching and doing the build to see if there would actually be any damage done.
So put a carpet on the floor, wear synthetic clothing, walk around a bunch in the process of assembling a PC.
This would be a very interesting episode.

Coolslammer got a reaction from SansVarnic in Will there ever be a ASIC folding machine?
Also rerember that for the goal of the project, asic miners would be beneficial. However no incentive other than competitions/curecoin to buy dedicated hardware.

Try going with some cheaper one ($40-50 range). -

Can you afford skylake? If yes, I'd get it, the next generation of Intel CPUs will be using LGA 1151 socket.

Coolslammer reacted to TheKDub in [US Newegg] Corsair CX430 $14.99 after $20MIR
The CX power supplies aren't that bad for low end rigs, as long as you're staying under around 75-80% power draw, you should be perfectly fine.
My CX600M has worked perfect in my rig for over a year now, with daily use. (Specs in sig)

Coolslammer reacted to Imakuni in best parts for deticated folding rig
I'll be honest: the best bang for the buck would be getting a Gtx 980ti and slapping it into the rig on your sig.
No jokes; if you were to get a new system, you'd have to spend on RAM, mobo, PSU, case and storage (which are completely useless), as well as a CPU (which doesn't help much). Getting a 980ti to your current machine will not only convert all the money into actual compute performance, it'll also improve your gaming experience whenever you want.
