    So After an 8 hour memtest86 no errors.. ran disk error checking no errors and same with the ssd... So back to Square 1

    hmm yea thats exactly what happens i push caps and num lock and nothing so i hold the power button ugg..

    do you think its only Hard drive issues? and not Software?

    i have an ssd(Crucial) handling the OS and 2 games i play most often and for the rest i have a conventional hd

    i do see the critical error events but thats because i had to shut down with power button.

    Hey guys so just like the title says My computer randomly freezes once a week at least i haven't found the culprit and was wondering if anyone can have some helpful input. my Specs: Amd fx 8320 gtx 1060 16 gig ram ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0 850 watt psu i checked temps they seem fine everything is stock and followed a trail to maybe two audio drivers were causing it but even with uninstall of the nvidia one it still happens.. ran memtest for 5 hours and no errors any help or ideas would help thanks guys
