Just wondering if the GTX 980 could handle a triple monitor setup and provide smooth gameplay in such configuration. Someone told me that if I wanted smooth gameplay and a triple-monitor setup, I would need to upgrade to the GTX 980 Ti. Is this correct? Thanks!

GTX 960 Strix Triple Monitor Setup?

I'm looking into buying the Asus GeForce GTX 960 Strix 4GB, but want to know if it's capable of running a surround setup. I looked up the original GeForce GTX 960 and it said that it was capable of a surround setup. However, I'm not sure if that means all of the other graphics cards built upon it (like Asus' version) are also capable of it. I'm amusing so, but I wanted to make sure.

I'm wondering what the wattage of a power supply means. Does it mean the maximum amount of watts that it can handle at a certain time or is it something else? Probably an amateurish question, but I'm just now getting into building a PC. Thanks!
