Is it only the first time a map loads? Just to save the hassle, I'd probably just turn down the texture quality or the AA (AA is the likely culprit).

I'd tone something down. The game is meant to be run at a minimum of 60FPS (yes, even on consoles). Why do you think the game pulverizes anything EA throws at it? It just feels better (which isn't saying much).

The fact that you rate a game of this type on graphics speaks volumes. OT: PoE is a very good game, and I personally wish I had more time to put into harcore runs. Very addictive leveling (how couldn't it be, with a tree like that?)!

You either don't play it at a high level, or you ignore the competition. Either excuse is fine, but many things that were promised in prologue were cut from the final game, including the bone-headed decision to split the car models into TWO DIFFERENT QUALITY CLASSES. 80% of the cars looked worse than their PS2 renders, and the other 20% were dead once you realized the promised destruction engine didn't make the cut. It pained me to admit this, but it must be done, fellow racing fan. Forza. Say it with me once. Forza. Be at peace child.

If you believe that, then it's proof you don't play many racing games, lmao. GT5 was slammed by fans and critics alike (the reason I bought a PS3 was for that game, and even I couldn't sugar coat the mess it was).

After the promise of the first, and the potential revealed by the second, they give us a POS that is created to amuse the lowest common denominator. I'm embarrassed to even say I played the third one. Won't even come close to bothering with the fourth, as it looks to be a yearly cash cow sold to the least intelligent corner of gaming society. The devs should be ashamed.

People forget that this is an MMOFPS (including myself...played beta, hated it, only came back bc of insistence from friends), so it's either farm or be farmed. Search out WarpathWrel on YT, as he has some fantastic tutorials and reviews for any level of play.

If you're going to main engi, MAX OUT THE REPAIR TOOL AND AMMO PACK. This is of double importance if you're maining sundies. After that, I'd max out flak armor, then invest in a new carbine (assuming you're NC, I'd go with the AC-X11). The guns are mainly sidegrades, but after maxing those 3 things, it's a good way to go. As far as sundy certs, max out blockade and invest a little in mine guard as well if you're getting hosed by engies dropping in with tank mines. Kobalts are a cheap way to make your van a battle bus (as are the default basilisks considering the gunners have aim). Don't forget to help out those maxes as well! Huge amount of support certs to be earned there if your fragging isn't up to par. I'm a squad leader in arguably THE BEST outfit in the world (NUC), so if you need any pointers with pretty much anything, just PM me, and I'll try to help out when I get a minute. ETA:I've also spent much more on this game than I'd care to admit...that said, best deals would be membership, followed by the heroic boost on sale this weekend. Boosts are the only true shortcuts, as most of the guns really are sidegrades. Let me know what you're considering for purchase, and I'll give you a pretty good opinion.
