  1. Sadly, the cheapest available OnePlus in my country is the 8T and it's over 650 USD I'll check those out The thing that worries me about cheaper phones is how long those will get updates I'm leaning towards the FE because of this and the cameras Thanks for the replies
  2. Hi, I'm currently looking for a new phone and was wondering if something cheap like a Pocophone X3 Pro that I could get for US$360 equivalent is a good choice for a phone that I could use for around 3 years. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ that is on death's door. I'm willing to spend more on something like a Galaxy S20 FE that I can get for US$550 or a used Note 10+ or S20+ for around the same price. The only thing I really care about in a phone is a quality feel in the hand, dual sim card and a nice camera. High refresh rate would be nice but not necessary since I haven't experienced it on a phone yet so I wouldn't feel like I'm loosing something I'm open to suggestions under within this price range Thanks
  3. Update: I put the ssd on the 2nd m.2 slot and now it shows up, the problem is the MB manual says that that port uses the same bandwidth as the GPU I will see if this affects performance
  4. The only options are Auto and Sata56 under M.2_1 Control This is in the Onboard Devices Configuration menu
  5. I’m not sure what you mean but I updated the BIOS after the problem started to try and fix it
  6. Hi, I’ve been using my m.2 ssd for months as my boot drive and today when I turned on my PC its no longer recognized by my motherboard. What could be the reason for this, the pc was working normally last night BIOS is up to date System CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard Asus ROG B450-F Gaming RAM 2x8GB Ballistix 3000MHz GPU EVGA GTX 1080 Storage Crucial 500GB m.2 Operating System Win 10
  7. Tried it but that's an Intel graphics thing from what I found
  8. It should be fine, if it's way too much I would clean it stil, cotton swab and iso alcohol, unplug first
  9. Hi, I recently switched my 32"4K monitor to portrait and I'm really enjoying using it like that most of the time, except from the obvious that is watching videos. Is there a way to switch easily, so it just works like a tablet, with a keyboard shortcut maybe? I'm using Display Fusion but I just know the basics for split screens and wallpapers This is on Win10 Pro, Nvidia graphics Any advice is appreciated
  10. I used it for a year without it. I think I will contact phanteks for a replacement
  11. Hi, a few days ago I installed a Phanteks vertical GPU mount with the included cable. Under heavy loads while gaming (some games) the pc turns off like the power just went off. It happened with Forntine and Warzone. I can play Valorant with no problem. I stressed tested using Furmark and Prime 95 and the PC restarted (in under 10 mins) while using my usual mild overclocks, it shut down also while at stock speeds Any advice helps, Thanks System CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard Asus ROG B450-F Gaming RAM 2x8GB Ballistix 3000MHz GPU EVGA GTX 1080 + Thermaltake Waterblock Case Corsair Crystal 460X Storage Crucial 500GB m.2 PSU 500w Strider PlusSilverstone
  12. If you can buy the motherboard in store go for that, they should be able to flash the latest bios for you in a few minutes
  13. Are you just gaming in this PC? I would personally spend less on a 2600 and a cheaper B450 board unless you really want the ROG look And what ever you save on that goes to the GPU
  14. I had thought of using the 2600 but didn't know if it could be overkill Thanks
  15. Would an i5 4670K on a z97 board with 16gb of ram be good enough? I have this and could sell it to him for cheap
  16. Its going to be tough without screws. You could use double sided tape to put up a shelf but thats probably worst for the wood finish than a couple of screws Another option would be an upside down monitor arm if you can clamp it to the upper bed. You could also zip tie the hell out of a tv mount but that could still damage the side of the bed
  17. Hi, I'm helping a friend build his new computer but I don't really know how to prioritize spending for Autocad This will be a gaming rig first and he works with autocad. I want this to be a Ryzen build with an Nvidia GPU. Only main tower components included in the budget. No case needed ATX standard format Any input would be appreciated Thanks
  18. Extra performance would mean faster read and writes for file transfers but that is mostly for content creators such as editors that need faster speeds. For gaming just get the cheapest one you can find, the difference will be a few seconds while loading maps or levels
  19. What are you using your PC for? I would just buy the cheapest m.2 I could find in the wanted size unless you really need the extra performance
  20. I recently upgraded to a Asus ROG B450F Gaming motherboard. I used to run a EVGA z97 Stinger and with that motherboard I could plug in my speakers and headphones at the same time in the back of the MB and switch between them with software. Is there a way I could do this with my motherboard? I dont want to use the front panel connector because Im using an amp for my headphones. Any help is appreciated
  21. Thank you, that sollertia res is exactly what I was looking for
  22. Im planning a watercooling build on a Corsair Crystal 460X but the reservoir I currently own (XSPC Photon 270) is too big and it only fits if I install it horizontally on the top of the case. That works but it covers too much of the motherboard so I dont want to use it. The easiest option I have is getting a new acrylic tube (10mm) to use on a D5 pump res combo I have (Bitspower) but that would mean having the res under the graphics card on the bottom of the case and I dont think that would look good. Im wondering if there is a res I could buy that is small and looks good that I could install maybe in the fan grill (120mm only) at the back of the case or maybe in front of the graphics card on the ventilation grill Any recommendation for good looking small reservoirs are welcome Hopefully under 80 dollars US
  23. Can't check it, I get no image in the screen and the BIOS version is not stated anywhere in the manual or the box Yes, they are That would take too long, I can just take it to the store so they do it but it's a 2 hour drive. Trying to avoid that
  24. Sounds like your ISP is blocking the websites. Have you tried accessing the sites with your phone on your wifi. Try that and then with your data, if it only works on data, it's time for a VPN
