  1. You really can't go wrong with any of the new IPhones, but you will of coures have to fork over loads of cash
  2. NICE, have loads of fun!!!
  3. are you 100000000% certain your RAM is installed properly?
  4. You should check out the Sennheiser HD598. Open, over-ear and great audio at a fair price
  5. ATM is the partition setup. I suppose the best would be to get part3 shrinked about 60% somehow
  6. This was it! Called my ISP as you reccomended and he made no big deal of it. Thank you so much for helping me get back on-line!
  7. Hi all About a month ago i formatted my windows laptop and installed Fedora. I kinda regret doing it now, and want to get a dual-boot setup going. Do you know if it's possible to get this done without having to reformat the entire drive and reinstall both the os-s?
  8. ooh interesting! It is indeed provided by the dorm. I don’t really know any of the technicalities other than that it’s a fibre connection, so this rouge router theory sounds plausible. Hopefully the person responding to my email will know of this, otherwise I’ll call
  9. Tbh, same, but knowing that the cable and laptop Ethernet port are good, it seems so strange for it to not be. Lol what might be even stranger is that, if this is not the problem, what other reason might be causing this. well, I just emailed my isp, hopefully they know reason. Thanks for the help
  10. No I only have one cable avaible. But I confirmed that it is ok by connecting it between my laptop and router (which I normally would do by WiFi). The lights came on on both sides and everything was fine. The same does not happen if I plug the laptop directly into the wall, then it appears dead btw I’m 99% sure the router is fine because I can connect to it normally with both WiFi and Ethernet thanks
  11. Hi so i was messing about with my Ethernet cable trying to set up my raspberry pi. Somewhere in this mess I managed to have an Ethernet cable go from my lan wall port, to a lan out on my router. Could this have killed the internet from the wall? I never got it working again after that the router is some Asus N66u if that matters i would love some help, really anxious ):(
