  1. I'd love to get my hands on the Autore keyboard. I'm currently using a mechanical keyboard with MX Blue switches and I've always wanted to try Browns. The Aria headset looks awesome, too. Build quality seems great on first impression.
  2. Nope, no 2.1 please. The space under my desk is fairly limited so I don't really have anywhere to put the sub. I've actually got a Teufel 5.1 system right now that I'm looking to replace because the huge subwoofer just gets in the way. Thanks ZetZet! The Studio R1900TII were definitely on my list, I really like the way they look and from what I've heard they sound great, but the R1280T might be even better. No front volume and i/o unfortunately though.
  3. Hey guys, as the title suggests I'm looking for a decent set of desktop speakers. The following features are important to me: good sound quality for the price (obviously) front volume control front headphones and aux port (this one isn't a necessity, but it would certainly be a big plus) I'm from Germany, so the actual price is gonna be in € (planning on spending 80-100€), but I thought most of you are probably from NA, so I put $ in the title. Up to 120$ should be fine. Thanks!
  4. definitely not a review! lol the case looks great though, i really like what corsair did with the back panel.
  5. the quality control failures on the doors and the case feet are bad enough, but the price tag is just outrageous for what you get. what the hell were they thinking?!
  6. I'm running a Crucial M4 128GB SSD and a WD Green 2TB hard drive. From what I've read the Crucial SSD at the time I bought it was generally considered one of the best and most reliable SSDs out there. It has my OS, most used programmes and 2 or 3 games on it. I chose the WD Green drive for storage and the rest of the games, where loading time isn't as important. The reason why I got this relatively low performance drive was mainly because I really value a quiet rig, but it was also pretty cheap and for the stuff I store on it high performance simply doesn't matter.
  7. Motherboards: Gigabyte PSUs: be quiet! / Seasonic GPUs: MSI RAM: Corsair Cases: Corsair / Fractal Design CPU Coolers (Air): Phanteks CPU Coolers (AIO liquid): Corsair Unpopular opinion time: I don't really get the hype around Corsair PSUs (when it comes to looks, they're obviously great quality). They look very mediocre in my eyes. The only nice thing about them is these kind of rails that go over the top, but be quiet! did that first and they still do it better.
  8. That's a good point actually. If she's willing to give some inside information on how it was to get the channel started and the challenges on maintaining it etc., that could indeed be interesting.
  9. I wasn't 100% serious about TastyPC. I kinda like her, but I think she probably wouldn't be the best for a discussion like Linus has in mind and doesn't (like you said) "bring a conversation". That suggestion was more for comedic value tbh. About TTL: That's a matter of taste. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I really like his style of doing things. Maybe even more than Linus' (please don't ban me ;) ). And I'm gonna stand by what I said, I think he can add a lot to the conversation.
  10. Is this the thread where we can suggest guests for future episodes? If so, I would really love to have Tom Logan / TTL from OC3D on! He obviously knows a ton about hardware and seems like someone you can easily get a conversation going with, so I think he will bring a lot to the table. Of course the discussion topics shouldn't be as focused on US politic and generally NA-centric as it was the case with Logan from TekSyndicate, but more about the PC industry etc. Another plus is that in the past he was generally willing to speak his mind about stuff he didn't like and some of the workings of the business (more than many others at least), so with controversial stuff we're hopefully not just gonna get some political answers. I don't know if he would even be willing to do it, but if I remember correctly when he was once asked if there was someone who he would like to do a cooperation with he said "probably Linus". This is of course a different thing, but I think he could be convinced. ;) If that's not possible for whatever reason, two other suggestions: Dimitry from Hardware Canucks and - of course - TastyPC!
  11. You didn't watch the video, did you? He said he spoke to them to try and sort things out and even got an unreleased bios from them, but it didn't change much. He mentioned MSI at least as many times as Gigabyte.
  12. Seasonic. They are awesome quality and I think the only brand with better looking PSUs is Bequiet!
