I have a corsair cx750m psu and dont have the cables (or even know if this pcu has the capability) to run my msi gtx 1080 ti gaming x. Id like to hope that the topdogs at nvidia aren't so nefarious in their product launch scheme. I know that the past few years should keep the launch-frame and performance differences within a margin of expectation for consumers, but still, again Im not going to rule out nvidia saying "fuck it" and blowing everyones minds with jaw dropping tech in 2018

I think both of you are likely in a good range with your expectations But I can still dream of super saiyan cards hitting 144 hz at 4k max

I mean yeah, but who the hell can get their hands on a titan before it would even become obsolete to a ti Id ever have to be rolling in money or have top notch connects to get a titan fresh out the gate, so I dont really factor that into my thinking at all.
