  1. Pretty cool to see that guys like ya'll are the ones on these forums.
  2. Yeah the reason I put that lower was I had a feeling that OBS from the little I have read would suffice. What kind of camera setup makes sense in a streaming/youtube environment?
  3. I can definitely wait a week or two. Are we expecting the later cards from AMD to be worth the wait?
  4. Budget (including currency): $1800-$2200 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Game Streaming, Doom Eternal, Modding Skyrim and Minecraft, RPG's, Light-video editing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello LTT Forums, I have finally gathered enough money to ditch my 2016 Macbook Pro and become a member of the PC Master Race (Cringing just saying this). I essentially want a streaming setup including a new pc, a monitor (or two if that makes sense), a webcam and maybe a mic (though I can probably get by if necessary with my current Snowball). Here are some of the other things I was thinking about! 1440p monitor running at 140 hz or a 34 inch monitor maybe? A second monitor for chat? A keyboard and mouse Maybe a capture card if that's even necessary? I live in Washington DC so I actually have a Microcenter close which I know can help lower prices. I'm just kind of lost and confused by all this stuff so lots of guidance would be appreciated! PS: Sorry about my grammatical shortcomings in this post. I just worked a long shift at work
  5. Are Razer Greens okay with this club too considering that Linus doesn't hate them?
  6. Looking to buy new headphones and wondering which of these I should buy. Just to clarify I'm looking into the 1st momentums because the second gen are outside of my range. I do consider myself an audiophile so I want opinions from mainly the people who know sound like I do. My home setup are hd-650's with a objective two, just to prove my audio master race membership!
  7. what about GPU's or even CPU's and ram because I now don't want a hackintosh for sure considering these posts!
  8. I agree that they are over priced but that isn't why i'm buying them! I like the look and I just don't like most other looks because they have red in them which isn't exactly the most appealing color to me to be using everyday. And btw I love red
  9. The problem is that I want to do gaming and some performance is taken away from either method. A windows will cool ineffectively and linux as we saw with Steam OS is bad for gaming
  10. OK thanks Morgan MLGman! Love your name! BTW what would any of you recomend for memory on top of all of the above
  11. Hello LTT Forums people! So I have a dilemma currently. Context: For the past year I have been looking at/thinking about my 18 birthday which I intend to be a PC or a Hackintosh. I do a lot of audio work, as well as doing a lot of gaming, specifically LOL and GTA. My price range is about up to $3,500 (preferably 3,000) and I have a specific theme like it or not HATERS! Yes it's Razer and before all you corsair fans start trying to tell me I'm being an idiot and that i should go with corsair instead, I have my mind set. I like the razer color scheme as well as their now famous Blackwidow chroma. So don't hate on me internet. I like it so suck it up. Here are the things I do know: Intel cpu for sure Most likely pro tools Razer I need audio hardware to power my lovely HD 650's, my most beloved possession. NZXT H440 Razer Edition Will need a OS Will not go for another real mac after my last one died on me after only 3 YEARS! Here are the things I need to figure out: AMD OR NVIDIA and what GPU. What CPU (I'm thinking more 6700k or 4790k if hackintosh) Should I do a hackintosh considering the fact i will be using pro tools and will it effect gaming to do a hackintosh What my list of parts would look like 1440p, 3440x1440, or 4k On board audio or something like the Mayflower odac/amp gsync at 1440p or 3440x1440p lg. because acer's predator is just too dam expensive right now although it will be built in may! Storage idea Watercooler Finally IPS or TN Please feel free to leave any positive comments/ constructive critique of my build that you would like and feel free to help me because it is my first build! Also my pcpartspicker builds aren't very smart most likely so I'm not putting them in so I hope to have Lists linked in the description for help deciding the best parts!
