yah I got it for a real bargan for $30 on amazon and the previous owner mentioned on the listing that he never used it so it's pretty much in unused condition and I did test it with 2 bluerays one I know is fairly new with the movie being made in 2014 and it plays those fine with no skipping or glitching on the screen

Ran a Core i3 4370 with a RX480 and was able to max out overwatch on it with no bottleneck

You could just be reading them wrong because the router is capible of 100 megaBITS ber second and you are getting 10 megaBYTES per second they are 2 different mesurements and a 100megabit router is only capible of 10megabytes per second so it's the router not your wiring or computer just get a gigabit router and you'll be transfering at 100megabytes per second

got it booted, working, and activated 

I find it easier with my hyper 212 evo to install the backplate outside of the case and installing the cooler after you mounted the motherboard, ram, and fans into the case, because I have found some cases to make it hard to install the fans after you install a big CPU cooler I kinda get lucky with my small hands (I've got the Linus size with the Linus hands) so it's easier for me to do things like sqeeze my fingers in to screw in a screw but it's definately easier to mount the backplate first outside the case then putting in the cooler once you putt the motherboard in the case and know you won't have any trouble installing the case fans and RAM in

Try to get one of those 4 pin molex to fan header adapters to see if you can get the fans to spin and that will help determine if its the two fans that are dead or if you just got unlucky with 2 motherboards

Just a little note this is coming from someone who has never played a Battlefield game before and who likes mid speed tactical games like World of Tanks. So I'm really excited and also concerned over the new Battlefield 1 game that's coming out and I'm concerned it's going to be one of those tiny maped overly sped up games like Call of Duty. I love World War 1 and World War 2 games and I like games to have some sort of realism in them and games like Call of Duty really make me not like play FPS games because there is no realism it's played like your sonic the headgehog with a lazer rifle that looks like a regular rifle. What would make Battlefield 1 a great game for me is if they added things like bullet ballistics in so you would have to actually elevate the barrel of your rifle at extreme ranges and also make you have to lead the target when your shooting at medium to long range to hit a moving target, and even if they don't add the bullet drop at long ranges at least add the thing where you would have to lead a target at medium to long range to hit the target. Also the number one thing that would make Battlefield 1 my favorite game is if they actually made actually giving a extra 5 seconds to think on what your going to do while your in cover actually benefit you in getting the advantage over the enemy and not be another one of those run and gun games. Now I can deal with some sort of non historical accuracy and some non accuracy to real life like I can accept if it wasn't so realistic with the bullet physics and if it was sped up a little bit to be a bit faster then the extremely slow World War 1battles and also I can accept that they made stuff like the tanks a bit faster then they were in history to keep the game play going. I just don;t know if they are going to make it so fast paced there would be no room for tactics and knowledgeable players who like to think about what they do in a game and how it affects the outcome by working with their team. I have seen some gameplay in some weekly tech news live streams and one thing I can say is they nailed the speed of the tanks to the point where they are fast enough to keep the gameplay moving and also keep the tanks slow enough to keep it feeling like they are slow lumbering hunks of metal like they were in World War 1. Also from the game play I have seen the game is one of those faster paced ones and I don't know if the game is only going to be fast paced or if it's going to be one of those games that the pace of the game can change based on where you are on the map and where everyone is on the map. So I hope the makers of Battlefield 1 really strike a good balance of keeping with the WW1 theme, game play speed, and tactical game play because if they make it too fast paced and too run and gunny the game isn't going to be too enjoyable for me.

Patriot is a good brand I wouldn't worry about the SSD I have a patriot flash drive that I used quite a bit for videos for the past half of a year and it still works fine

Same here I clean out my gaming desktop alot too I always suggest to people to clean out the inside of their PC once a year to prevent overheating problems and to increase the longevity of their PC

I wonder why no one has thought of a thread where people can share the animals they love to the community.

as long as you didn't torrent anything that might contain a virus you should be fine and what GPU do you have on some GPUs its fine for it to idle at 40 degrees and 5% gpu usage is fine at idle because its just using tiny bit of the gpu to display the stuff on your display like your desktop

the sata hard drive is 200gb I'm just supprised the motherboard even has sata

Not really I got Zorin OS Lite running on it right now and it seems actually pretty snappy browsing the web I'm actually posting this from the frankinputer right now

now heres the peacekeeper benchmark results of frankinputer running Zorin OS Lite 

and yet I still ripped out a capacitor on my $1000 desktop's motherboard when I had to take out a defective GPU I bought that got stuck on my case and had to force out of the computer... NOT FUN

I'm going to leave this poll alone for now because I got it to work and I don't want to create another post that is going to be borked too
