Which bluescreen errors? Id test also test without the riser, these can cause issues.

Seconded - risers have been the issue for a lot of people in this forum. Keep forgetting that since I never use them myself

Just remember, truenas is not “easy” to add storage to a vdev after the fact. I would go on the truenas forums and read all of their pinned “new user” and “hardware guide” type threads to get a better idea of what is right for you and your use case.

Id probably get a single 8tb drive, then you can add more later. More reliable than a raid 0 or 2 tb drives.

    Id avid smr drives.

Definitely go OLED. One year in and my CX has no signs of burn-in.

RTings did an extended burn-in test of OLED TV's, even the older LG C7 held up great after thousands and thousands of hours.

tbh I was "dreaming" too of oleds as most of my devices are oled since 2013 (only own samsung amoled phones and tablets)
so when I had to get two tvs, I looked into oleds for thems, but while phones and tablets last 2/3 years then you might upgrade, TV most likely will stay for longer than that.
In 2 years I had burn in issues in some of my old amoled phone (my galaxy note 3) while my galaxy book tablet is stil rocking a spotless screen since 2018.

Still I was too woried about that, adding up the cost of oleds TV and I got two samsung qled and I believe it was the right choice.
Qled tv have a pretty big range of quality, my 65" blow my 58" qled in colors, black levels and speaker(yeah the 58" needs a soundbar while the 65" is pretty fine by itself) even tho they both are qled from the same 2020 generation
Black levels, colors and contrast are really good still for cheaper but if only it's cheaper, for the same price yeah I would still go for oled. (try them in a store to compare both oled and good qled)

For additional really you don't need to overthink it. SN750 is a great ssd, you can pai it with any ssd, even sata, and your pc will still perform the same.
So i gueess get the cheapest one, with a good warranty ofcourse.

    I would get the sandisk.
You won't notice the speed difference anyways, because your usecase doesn't benefit from it,  but you will notice the difference on your wallet.
And when I say you won't notice the speed difference, I mean it. Even if you would go for the Samsung, you wouldn't even get Windows to boot 1 sec faster, let alone games.
So just get the Sandisk and enjoy it.

Fuzzyy got a reaction from Demonic Donut in NH-D15: bottom-to-top or right-to-left
There is always convection happening in a running system. When air touches the VRM heatsink, it gets warmer than before, resulting in convection(very minimal but still there). Sure, you can "tell" it where to go, but you can't tell it not to go upwards right? It wants to go upwards whether you direct them with fans or not. But If you tell the air to go upwards and it wants to move upwards, it will be easier(low RPM therefore low fan noise). The results are very close to each other in my testing(2-3 degrees Celcius, same fan rpm), but is right to do it this way imo.

That monitor is limited to 100 Hz over HDMI while FreeSync is active.

If its 27GL850-B then it supports 144hz over hdmi, from LG's site: https://gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=QzTC8uoMuZpLffcL5QGhJQ

The HDMI 2.0 spec allows for 144 Hz, but the monitor may only have implemented up to 100 Hz.

[Edit] Do you have Freesync or Adaptive Sync (in the OSD) enabled? It looks like it's limited to 100 Hz over HDMI in that case:

Maybe try disabling those if so.
