  1. Just saw Princess Mononoke in Theaters for the 20th Anniversary, I Don't know about the rest of you but definitely one of my most favorite animated films hands down. One of the interesting advertisement I saw was for Sword Art Online movie, I don't know about the rest of you but that anime should have ended after the first half of the first season before they go to elfworld. Btw total new to this tread, I could not find want anime y'all are watching currently. Would one of you kind people point me in the right direction.
  2. Its quite an awesome game, if you pick it up pm me.
  3. ah man, well moving game folders by USB is not to hard. Just direct the download to your desktop so you know where it is, then load it on USB then offload it to desired location.
  4. Anyone in the community Playing this game? I backed it recently because of one of my buddies, but I am looking for more people I can play with.
  5. Better to address the long term problem and just bump up your internet speeds by either upping your bill or offering to split it with who ever currently is paying so you all get get better speeds.
  6. Have you tired updating chrome or clearing the temp files from the browser? worse comes to worst uninstall reinstall, as long as you have a decent connect should take a total of 5 minutes max.
  7. As silly as this sounds have you tried unplugging the unit then plugging it back in? is it plugged directly into the wall or a surge protector? I had something similar happen to my unit, all it ended up being was unplugging then re plugging it in to fix the issue. What I would also check is event viewer and see if it gives you any more details. Like @Gonio said did anything recently change hardware, software or even environment wise? Is their any dust build up happening on, around or in the case? If you can I would do a memtest or use a built in tool to test memory on your unit.
  8. Someone had mentioned the jazz fest to us and the graffiti and mural festivals, we are art junkies so we are really interested in those. We missed an impact game, so we want to go up to see a home game. Not really racers, but we will always make room for a fun experience. We did go up to see some local improv, which was a blast. We did a beer tour and food tour! when to all the really famous brew pubs like Le saint-bock and Benelux. We had Poutine, which was awesome. their is a local place near where we all live that sells it, we are all going to go and see how it compares. Well down south just got interesting!
  9. I just wanted to say that I had gone up to Montreal last week and really enjoyed my first taste of Canada! I saw a lot of the sights and walked around the city, was a part of the active night life as well! Me and my buddies are already planning another trip to Canada to see more of it! I encourage my fellow natives of the USA to stretch your legs and go see our neighbors at some point in your life, even if it is not Montreal and somewhere else in Canada!
  10. So am looking for a study partner(s) to study with for the comptia A+, I am looking to take my Cert In mid-January. I have current gone over the material and am looking to help fill in my weak spots and get prepared for the exam. I am looking for a study partner that would like to meet up online in some chat room (voice or video cam). I like to meet up once a week for 2 -3 hours to quiz each other with home brewed or googled questions applying to the A+. I also open to other forms of studying. I am in the Eastern time zone ( UTC -5), depending on how many people are really interested we can go from there on setting up a weekly time slot/schedule we aim for doing the study sessions.
  11. They recently redid and released new Comptia A+ test 220-901 and 220-902 back near the beginning of this year. Most of it is a general blanket of technology and how it all works, none of it is cutting edge. Its designed to get you up to date on what a standard company and home user would be using to operate on a daily basis.
  12. So I am looking for a friend on a laptop that meets the below requirements, beyond finding outdated laptops, expensive Macbooks, and telling the dude to build a PC, I am out of ideas. The tricky thing is the fire wire 4 pin that the dude tells me that he needs. Is anyone aware of a adapter that works that I could get for my buddy? Or any other ideas? Requirements - laptop i5/i7 4-8GB of Ram 1TB HDD fire wire 4 pin
  13. This is it, finally got around to making one of these thanks to it being a requirement for my networking class. We are currently thinking of building a NAS out of old computer parts and new HDD to add to our massive home network.
  14. You tell someone that It will take you X amount of time to address and fix the issue and they call the next day expecting it to be completely done. When I see someone did not take the time when they built the computer to do cable management,. It only takes 2 extra minutes as you build to make it look nice. Someone ask me to setup outlook for a work email that I don't have the port information for.
  15. If you google your graphics card of interest you should be able to find the "exact" height of your card, I know newegg most of the time post the size of the graphics cards, example for a gigabyte 1060 on newegg it states the size as 8.78" x 4.76". Most cases designed for ATX motherboards will work with almost any card. What you can always use is a riser cards or PCIe extension cable to fit into special or unique form factors. hopes this helps!
