  1. Ok, let me explain the whole story which i wanted to avoid explaining the whole story due to it being so damn long and confusing to write. I got this 480gb ssd for my work pc (windows 8 ), so i cloned the hdd onto the ssd however the pc wouldn't boot with the ssd due to the BIOS not allowing myself to choose which drive to boot off. So i decided to put the ssd into my gaming rig which still had the clone with windows 8. So i basically made this make sense, the 480gb is the drive I want to wipe because it has windows 8 on it, I want to clone is the 120gb onto the 480gb however I wanted to wipe it so there would be no issues with windows 8. So in the basic essence I wanted to wipe my 480gb with a version of windows 8 then clone my 120gb onto the 480gb then wipe the 120gb again. It gets really confusing. not really sure if that makes sense
  2. I see the "system disk no" on my it, I have typed "clean" however, this popped up: Virtual Disk Service error: Clean is not allowed on the disk containing the current boot, system, pagefile, crashdump or hibernation volume.
  3. Yup my ssd is not the booted drive, i have selected drive 0
  4. Yea, I can see "disk 0 111gb" which is definitely the one i want to wipe
  5. Yep I see it telling me the disks with the disk numbers
  6. I have Rearranged the boot priorities so it should run from the 480?
  7. Please do! I've never done this before. So I have done that and have "DISKPART>"
  8. I do not need any of the data as it has been cloned onto my new drive
  9. Hi, I have a 120gb SSD as my main windows drive and another 2 drives for storage. I have cloned the SSD onto a 480gb SSD but want to put a few games onto the 120gb SSD for quicker loading times, however, windows is still on there and its not letting me format the 120gb SSD. How do I wipe the 120gb SSD with windows?
  10. Hi, ive cloned my hdd onto my ssd with OS, however, when I unplug the hdd it doesn’t boot, I’ve looked into the bios but there is nothing there that will let me select the ssd to become the main drive. What can I do?
  11. Hi, My setup: Tv, Sony KD65AG8BU soundbar, HT-ZF9 additional speakers, SA-Z9R I have the tv to the soundbar with a HDMI and optical cable with the additional speakers connected wirelessly. The Audi cuts out frequently like it’s changing to the built in speakers for very short periods of time then return back to the soundbar. Also, another issue is that the speaker used to automatically turn on when you’d turn the Tv on however I need to turn them on separately, are there any settings that I need to change to fix that too? Thanks
  12. I'm joining ryzen soon however I will need a new bracket so I can mount my AIO. I have already contacted NZXT for a new bracket a month ago and they told me yesterday that they should be getting them in the next few weeks which is too long away for me. Is there anywhere I can go to buy one? Thanks
  13. how much is you're budget? £10k?
  14. I personally find it a bit hard to have a lack of airflow in a case which is pretty decent like yours but to diagnose this, also attempt taking the side panel off to allow more fresh air. if this doesn’t work I’d suggest the next step: My i7 4790 was overheating up to high 90°Cs, I fixed it by removing the thermal compound and reapplying some new thermal compound. This fixed my problem and started getting temps of 30 while idle, however, only do this if you feel comfortable doing this.
  15. @Oshino ShinobuFor god for f*ck sake, while I was putting the new hdd in i must've unplugged the power cable for the hdd (I believe the SATA) and didn't notice because its one hell of a crap but its sorted thank you for your time and help!
  16. I think you're right. I put my ssd into the port and it is recognised, ill try with a new cable an report back
  17. honestly I wouldn't be too surprised the board is pretty bad, by reseating you mean taking them all out and replugging? My sig is what im running atm, good observation
  18. Nope its one of the original drives, I've already formatted the 4tb drive. I should've mentioned that, sorry.
  19. Hi, I just put my shiny new 4tb hdd in my pc. I have 2 X 1tb hdd with 1 X 120gb ssd. they were in my sata 1, 2 and 3 ports but when I plugged this new hdd i rearranged the cables and now port 3 isn't being recognised and no hdd is showing up, might've I damaged the port? Also, I unfortunately only have 4 sata ports so Idrk what to do, either way im transferring the data from both of them to the big 4tb so perhaps im best of taking the data off one then removing it, putting the other hdd in and transferring off that? Thanks
