  1. Budget (including currency): 400 eur Country: Latvia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AutoCAD, SketchUp Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am planing to build a PC based on the AMD 5600G, with the idea of making it ultra upgradeable. When it is necessary, adding a dedicated GPU is totally an option, and after years, a used 5800X would be a very cheap way of adding some more CPU power. I do not have that much experience with these programs, does this sound good?
  2. Sorry for the late response, I manually installed the latest realtek drivers after uninstalling them.
  3. I fixed it. Uninstalled the controller and reinstalled the drivers. |
  4. You can try adding more pictures here or a video. Trying to explain the problem more thourouhly can help you find the solution yourself.
  5. I was cleaning up some old vitual ethernet adapters from my pc way too late in the evening and did something bad, do not remember what excacly. Now I cannot figure out even where to start. when I connect a laptop to the same port on my router, it works just fine. I did the network "factory reset " in windows, ir fixed nothing. Where do I even start troubleshooting? I have updated the drivers. The reaaltek ethernet adapter does not show up in ipconfig
  6. Maybe try other languages. Use google translate and try russian, indian, maybe chinese. Try searcing for the exact model number. Also, look at other spare parts on ebay, the screen for example. When you see how the parts look isolated, you can get a feel for how they come apart. I presume you have already tried searching on ifixit.com correct?
  7. I am running it at home. To be honest i don't know how to expose the VM to the LAN.
  8. Hi! I'm trying to connect to a virtual machine running on a remote PC. I set up wireguard VPN in hopes of it just working, but it does not. Any ideas on how to get this working?
  9. I haven't but I need ubuntu server for a university project, soo, there's really no point in tring others. I think that it is a problem with Ubuntu server.
  10. I just bought a laptop (framework) with a 12th gen intel processor and when trying to run hyper-v virtual machines the VM (ubuntu server) crashes after a while. I am thinking that it's because of the big little design. Any ideas on how could I fix this?
  11. Both sides are high speed ssd's (samsung 970+ and WD black top end) I am already using ethernet. I think the router is 100 Mbit. 100/8=12.5
  12. Yes, It works. Thank you! The speed is 11 MB/s, pretty slow, but thanks anyway.
  13. Do I need to make a special user or can I set it up with a guest account (how could i do that)?
