  1. Coming from the HD598 Cs, you could grab a pair of HD6XX which is the HD650. As far as I know, the DT990 would give you a more boomy sound, but it is cheaper though

    Headphone upgrade

Get the Sennheiser HD6XX or HD58X
  3. One more thing, my system crashes with BSOD on shutdown and restart with error code POWER_DRIVERS_STATE_FAILURE
  4. Hey everyone, I recently swap from an Asus ATX to an ASRock ITX motherboard, before the swap, my system worked fine. Now, the USB ports, both front panel and motherboard, take anything but USB drives and external HDDs (my keyboard, mouse, and external DAC work fine). Is this a drivers issue? If yes, then which one should I reinstall. Thanks in advance
  5. But I've heard they don't have really good sound signature right?
  6. Oh yeah, I forgot those. I prefer over-ears and because I listen to all kind of music so I would prefer a well-rounded one.
  7. I want to buy a good pair of noise canceling headphones for airplanes traveling. My budget: under $500. Right now, I'm looking at the Momentum Wireless and PXC 550 Wireless but if you know any other pair, please suggest me. Thanks in advance
  8. Isn't the noise canceling uses the inverted of the outside sound waves to cancel it out? Correct me if I'm wrong please!
  9. How about this https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Blaster-Ultra-Light-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B00SA1IAWG%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAICE7LOAJMK3SSLPA%26tag%3Dpcm_contextual-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB00SA1IAWG%26ascsubtag%3Db89814d0-6713-4a78-9cf5-3040fad79ac5 Headphones from a brand that I actually know
  10. For your case, just look up closed-back headphones. Your current pair should be an opened-back so that's why there is no noise isolating Btw, active noise-canceling technology uses some kind of low frequency sound waves to block unwanted noises and those headphones are expensive. Passive noise isolating only isolates sounds depending on the ear cups' materials. In your case, you want noise isolation.
  11. If you want to have both Bluetooth and noise-cancelling, as far as I know, they are not going to be that cheap. Consider at least $50 for Bluetooth only and at least $150 for Bluetooth and noise-cancelling

    M40x vs m50x

You can check my signature for the list of headphones I own and I agree that I might be used to bassy headphones not neutral headphones like the M40X

    M40x vs m50x

First, yes I have never tried any bright headphones. Second, I don't own the M50X so I don't have anything to say about it. Third, I do own the M40X and found it to be bright for my ears but I fixed it with the equalizer by just slightly decreased the treble.

    M40x vs m50x

The M40X are somewhat bright (high treble). This results in hearing fatigue after long period of time but using an equalizer will fix the issue
  15. Some alternatives to Bose QC35: - Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless - Parrot Zik 2.0 - Parrot Zik 3.0 - Sennheiser PXC 550: These have a lot of nice features for traveling (https://en-us.sennheiser.com/wireless-headphone-headset-bluetooth-noise-cancelling-pxc-550-travel) - Sony MDR-1000X
  16. I'm currently using a GTX 950. Whenever I try to change 2560x1080 @ 50Hz to 2560x1080 @ 60Hz (basically change the refresh rate), the resolution changes to 640x480 @ 60Hz. Does anybody know a fix for this? P/s: I have tried changing refresh rate for 3440x1440, 2560x1440 and 1920x1080 but still the same problem.
