  2. Lol Luke almost sounds like a kid with it on +4.
  3. I haven't used gpu tweak since it had a voltage changing problem but at the bottom under the profiles is there an apply overclock at startup? Even if you're not changing clocks/voltage it probably also takes care of fan profiles.
  4. My mom is one of those people that doesn't care to learn the simple things so if something is wrong she assumes its a virus or the site is broken and I get summoned. Fix w/e it is and then she talks to her friends as if I'm some kind of god. Its kinda embarrassing the way she talks about it and I'm there with them starring at me.
  5. Change my MSI z87 GD65 for an Asus z97 VII Hero. If I can fix my OC problem then change my HAF 922 Case for something smaller and more appealing to look at.
  6. I tried to pre-order Black ops 2 hardened edition but best buy messed up and so it was canceled and gave the copy to someone else. Never pre-ordered anything other than that so I guess it defaults as worse since I never got it.
  7. I didn't know if I should have posted this in troubleshooting or if here is fine since its more of a few questions and looking for help explaining some stuff. I'll post a copy past from my reddit thread. No one over there has been able to help in the subreddits I posted in. Ending didn't sound like questions so I'll put them here. What is GT ratio and what does it have to do with overclocking when the iGPU isn't overclocked? What does GT Voltage apply to? Again the iGPU doesn't get overclocked so how do these add stability? CPU Current Limit: How does this work? I'm thinking it's what is preventing the auto OC from failing with the automatic restarts but as mentioned in the last line I don't know the value for this.
  8. Its signed by some of my favourite tech youtubers, if it has to be about the notebook itself then it's that its a gaming notebook and it looks nice.
  9. I'll keep that bottom one in mind. The more I look at the $300 one the more I like it lol, Thanks for linking these.
  10. Yeah, saw it earlier and its a nice stand. The $300 CAD is quite a bit for me. I might get two single monitor clamp stands and put them beside each other if that works for a lower price point, but then the arms might hit each other trying to move positions.
  11. I need a dual monitor vesa stand but I need to be able to move the monitors around. What I need is to be able to switch the where a monitor would be in the middle without to much hassle. For example to move my main pc monitor which will be getting gsync to the side and moving my secondary monitor to the middle for when I'm on my xbox, i cant really turn my whole body which would probably be the normal thing using a controller but I use a mouse and keyboard when I play on xbox with my friends. I have seen stands that stack the monitors on top each other but I'm not to sure I would like the look of that. I'm already used to having the monitors beside each other. I'm also hoping to find this stand for under $150 if that possible, or are good stands only $200-500+?
  12. I don't mind my 50 down 10 up. I hate that its $80 and most of all I hate that its not fiber. I get 20-30 ping to Edmonton/Calgary and 100-130 ping to Cali. I would absolutely love to have ~20 ping to anywhere in north america.
  13. If I include my laptops, 5 years. This is my first pc with a dedicated GPU. Its hard to say but if there is an affordable 4k thats 120 Hz or I come across a butt load of money i'll probably buy the gpu for that and use my 780 for dedicated physx or i'll just get a 2nd 780 for sli.
  14. Yep. Even more with the city I live in. We only have one place that sells real computer hardware and they mark up the price a bit themselves. I can drive 2 hrs to a memory express though and they'll price match ncix. Last time I was at the store here cause I wanted a specific mouse that best buy no longer had, $430 for a 4770k, $500 for a GTX 770 and $250+ for mobo's that are $180 area.
