Hi,
Very recently I have experienced a data loss of my uni work. I have managed to get most of it back, but to make sure it won't happen again I have decided to invest some money in NAS. The problem I have now is that I know the NAS needs to plug into the back of the router. But, becasue I live in student accommodation the router is down stairs and running a cable from it to my room upstairs is going to be a nightmare. I was wondering can I possibly plug the NAS into a wifi repeater like this one using a much shorter RJ45 cable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender-EX2700/dp/B00XYEPLXU/ref=sr_1_3?adgrpid=53289596375&gclid=Cj0KCQiAqNPyBRCjARIsAKA-WFw6kruScZoIdt1SbqWAVNISXYnNLn8ez4_6ktBD1gi_qlKgk1C44EEaAu1GEALw_wcB&hvadid=259047272580&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=1007409&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=12355771997246260074&hvtargid=kwd-296688899165&hydadcr=28148_1752695&keywords=wifi%2Brepeater&qid=1582660272&sr=8-3&th=1
