  2. I've had these monitors for 1,5-2 years, and never had a problem with them before. Two of them are plugged into DVI, one uses a DisplayPort adapter. The problem monitor is using DVI. They are all plugged into the same power strip. All of a sudden, the left one started acting like in the video, starting up, make a quick noise/show the Acer logo, and then shut down again. It does this continuously. Sometimes it's possible to turn the monitor off by holding the power button, sometimes that's not possible, and I have to pull the cord. It has been like this for a couple of weeks, and I've managed to solve it by randomly pulling the power cable out/restarting the monitor. I see no clear pattern as to why it behaves like this. I've also tried plugging it into a different power jack, this doesn't matter either. Thank you for reading, and for any possible help! Edit: After testing with a cable from another monitor, and it working properly, I've come to the conclusion that I simply need a new one.
  3. Battery life for phones is really not that important to me. As long as it lasts through a school day, I'm fine. And right now, the iPhone 5 does that just fine. I charge it every night, since I listen to music through it while falling asleep. There is this uncertainty that my phone will die having Spotify and an alarm turned on. Even if I know that my phone will last several days, I think I'd still charge it every night like I do now. I just refuse to risk not waking up in time, thanks to letting my phone lie there without charging. This whole big battery thing is interesting though, I mean there are people that can take advantage of it. It just doesn't suit my lifestyle.
  4. These look really good, as always by Apple. They also did a good job showing it off on their website. They really are great at making things look good. I'll have to say that I'm not very excited about this release. The phones seem to get bigger and bigger, and for me, that's completely pointless. The iPhone 5 is a good size for me, anything greater feels like overkill. Might just be prejudice against big phones though I guess its all about getting used to it.
  5. It looks so fragile. Maybe thats just the size. I bet it'll be fine. As mentioned above, it looks like a lightning cable, which has been durable, at least for me. Not very excited about this new standard though, since I don't use any USB devices that needs a lot of bandwidth, but it will be good just in general. Improvements give room for more improvements
  6. ^^^ Wish that too. Played some at a friends and want to play through the whole game. Oh well... Can't wait for GTA V to be released though. Been wanting to play it for so long!
  7. Holy crap, that looks amazing! It looks kind of magical!
  8. That's a really cool rig! A little more time spent on focusing the camera would be nice though ^^ Still, great job!
  9. I didn't realize Linus Media Group had been going on for two years. Time passes by so quick!
  10. The greatest thing about this phone is the metal back (especially the gun-metal one). It's so sexy, and it seems so solid. The build quality of the phone just seems amazing.
  11. The only reason I haven't spent anything yet is that I've got no money on my PayPal... So my wallet is intact.. for now
  12. You need to finish the GTAIV campaign. It's pretty enjoyable. Mirrors edge is also really nice. Many people on here are probably screaming at you that you should play Portal 2 haha. You should really play that too. Yeah, haha that are the ones I think you should play
  13. Yeah, definately still good. Oc that thing and you're set. Cpu's still don't make a big difference in gaming. Don't quote me on this, but doesn't Luke have a 2500K in his rig?
  14. Okay, that sucks. have you tried launching it as admin? And verified game cache in Steam?
  15. I've gotten this too. It can be several problems. First and foremost; has it worked on your computer before? It worked fine on my main rig, but my school laptop wouldn't run it. I fixed it by doing this: Make a new notepad file, and name it: commandline.txt in the file, write: "-windowed" without the "s Save the file in the GTAIV directory (C:/program (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Grand Theft Auto IV/GTAIV/ Now try running the game. As I said, it worked for me by doing this, but it might not work for you. It will lauch the game in windowed mode, and it might be annoying for you too.
