  1. Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome, on PC of course.
  2. As far as I can remember this was my first computer that I didn't have to share.
  3. Im working on a review. Im still testing the thing out. So far I am no impressed with the screen at all... The viewing angles are terrible and it does in fact seem like a TN panel.
  4. I love the customization of it, the large screen size and resolution and the rear mounted buttons. Please LG save me from my iPhone.
  5. Okay I'll do the review. The laptop will be here tomorrow so hopefully have a video this weekend. What are some things you would like me to go over in the review? Right now I'm planning on reviewing programs I'll be using often; Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Creo Parametric 2.0. As for games I'm planning on benchmarking BF4 and Star Citizen dogfighter. Any other suggestions?
  6. I have ordered a Lenovo Y50 and it will be here next week. I noticed there is a lack of reviews on this product. Would you guys be interested in my first impressions of this laptop and a review?
  7. nest thermostat apple tv corsair H60 Cheap PSU Damn frozen pizza that's been in my fridge for months. I hate onions and I didn't notice it had onions.
  8. 2001 Honda Insight (3,700 USD) Desktop (1,200 USD) Logitech G602 (65 USD) Logitech G710+ (120 USD) Ikea Desk (200 USD)
  9. The price to performance on Quadro cards is terrible. To get a decent card you would have to go with the K3100M and I cant find a laptop with that is under $2500. So I am going to probably go with a GTX card like the 870M. I would go with a Quadro if I was running simulations though.
  10. Size doesn't bother me very much. I just need it to preform good with Inventor. I'd like a good price to performance ratio, which I know is hard to find in a laptop. If there is a 17 which is very close to the same price id go for the larger screen size. I find them better for productivity anyways. But if there is a large $200+ premium ill go with 15.6 I have considered the 2013 Razer Blade and putting windows 7 on it but I'm not sure how the support for 7 is on it.
  11. I'll be on the go with it a lot. To and from the local makerspace and the robotics team I mentor. I'll also take it with me on business trips. I'll mainly use it for Inventor and Creo Parametric 2. Possibly some light rendering in Keyshot.(only uses CPU) Also light gaming. Indie style games.
  12. I am in the market for a laptop. I have been looking around and the G750JM from Asus, it looks like a good value. Any other suggestions? I'll be using this mainly for Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Also some light photoshop use. I'm looking in the gaming market because of budget and there isn't that much of a difference in performance for the things I do. My budget is around $1,500 USD.
  13. i love the aluminum finish and front facing speakers.
  14. Reporting in from the future. Here to confirm, there is still no Half Life 3.
