  1. Yeah I could order a bracket from CM but it's always out of stock and if I'm going to give them money I'd just buy a black edition 212 (dat aesthetic) with the AM4 bracket included. My 212 Plus only came with AM2 / LGA 1155 brackets. My old parts went to my dad for driving me up to Micro Center so he could upgrade his step-grandson's Fortnite computer, so I don't even have that cooler any more anyways.
  2. Long time LTT watcher but first time posting on the forums. Overhauled my system on Saturday (hooray trip to Micro Center). I planned on spending about $500 to upgrade pretty much everything but my case and video card. Here's a picture of my old setup: https://imgur.com/YJz4lc1 The old specs were: Core i5 3570k, Asus P77-V LK motherboard, GTX 1070, 16gb Kingston DDR3, Hyper 212 Plus cooler, 1.5tb WD Green HDD, 1tb Samsung HDD, 120gb Samsung Evo SSD, 64gb Crucial SSD, 650w modular Corsair Bronze PSU, Cooler Master Storm Scout II Advanced case. Now for the upgrade pics: https://imgur.com/L39aaNq , https://imgur.com/caMdaAg , https://imgur.com/OlufpZw New specs: Ryzen 3600x, Gigabyte Aorus B450 Pro Wifi motherboard, GTX 1070, 16gb Crucial DDR4, 1tb WD Black NVME M.2 SSD, 120gb Samsung Evo SSD, 1.5tb WD Green HDD, 650w modular Corsair Bronze PSU, CM Storm Scout II Advanced. I spent about 3 hours removing the old components, blowing the dust out, vacuuming anything the compressed air left (completely emptied the case first), then putting everything in and routing all the cables. I removed the middle hard drive cage for better air flow, and I didn't need that many drives anyways. The inside part of the cage unscrewed, but the part towards the front of the case was riveted in, so I drilled out the rivets and pulled that out. I was eyeballing the Fractal Meshify C hardcore at Micro Center but it wasn't in the budget, maybe sometime this summer. I also want to replace one of my monitors with something 90/120/144Hz. I use a couple of ViewSonic 1080/60 monitors (one is ~24", the other is half an inch smaller), cheapo Logitech speakers, HyperX Cloud II headset, CM QuickFire Stealth KB with Cherry reds, Logitech G502 mouse, and a cheap-ish mesh chair from Amazon. I ended up spending $533 at Micro Center after tax, which got me the Ryzen 3600x, 16gb DDR4 3200 CL16, 1tb WD Black NVME SSD, Gigabyte MoBo, some zip ties and a couple cans of compressed air. The Wraith Spire is a bit louder than my old Hyper 212 was so I'm thinking of getting a couple side fans to keep the temps a little lower. The Ryzen is OCing itself up to 4.2Ghz, and the memory went right to 3200Mhz once I enabled XMP. https://imgur.com/Y2j9KrC
