Don't take your shot until your on his tail and you can put more than one shot on them, one shot with an energy weapon across the side of the ships just alerts someone and has no damage due to the shields.
Personally the bulldogs are my favourite weapon ATM
Fly like it's your last life, dogfighting is about endurance and sometimes it best to bide your time.

The money you pay for the ships will help fund the game. When the game is released you can get the ships with the in game money and not have to pay any real money

Cutlass and Freelancer is not an issue solo flying, sure that 1 turret will only fire forward but you could have a NPC operate that.
But yeah. a none issue.

The latest issue of the monthly report (that can be found here: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/14191-Monthly-Report-September-2014) shows the redesigned hud of the Aurora. This post made me think back about the whole HUD design concept in SC and how terrible it is at this point. I haven't thought about this much before but now I realise how much potential is wasted here. There are those super high detailed cockpits that later get completely dark as we play and all the instruments are dead with all the information displayed as holograms. For my taste it goes against immersion and makes all the ships look the same.
Another thing is the usability of the HUD. For now if you're on HOTAS you can forget using the management system and other goodies. It's so difficult that you die 10 times before you switch something.
That's why I'm opening this topic. Do you guys have and any ideas or concept how it all should be done? Maybe we can collect ideas here and then submit a bigger - well edited thread to RSI? When I have a little more time today evening I'll try to put together a list of ideas that I have.
What do you think? Maybe the HUD is OK as it is?

That would be really nice, it would make the blues stick out more. 
 
I would personally stick to bright colour that would have a little more white in it. If you know what I mean.

I've almost done the wooden parts, but still i need to cut the acrylic glass and think how to attach the glass to the wooden parts and how to make 2 92 mm holes to the glass

I agree, but there's a big difference between creating a theoretical massive budget build log and this.

This is BS.
 
If you want something you pick what you can and then refine if you can't budget for it. No one, NO. ONE. Legitimately just says I want to spend $20k here and $35k here being pretty much blind to what is inside. They say I want it to do this with this, this and this. If you didn't include a budget you would have had more realistic responses. 
 
This seems like a thread full of hot air. If it happens I'll take all this back but I don't see that happening. Also the fact that you have created multiple threads like this on lots of different forums like Toms Hardware, TekSyndicate and ROG but your budget has now fluctuated from a $11k single rig to a $16k single rig to a $20k rig AND $35k rig since the 22nd of Feb I'm calling shenanigans.

Very nice. You didn't paint the fins but you don't see those anyway. I like it. I might try this.
I don't want to buy an AIO. If I water cool I'm goon install a full loop through CPU+GPU.

I was originally going to upgrade the graphics cards to 780tis, but it got out of control and I ended up with a whole new build. All the parts in the above pic have been transferred to a black Corsair 600t, the new build will go in the silver 600t in the pic above.

I have a red theme going on with everything except the 780tis, I'll be changing the led colour and maybe some parts of the cooler.
 
I want the H100i to pull cold air in, its a bit cramped around the RAM so its either offset the radiator (which looks a bit shit) or hide it in the cavity below the top grill.
 
 

 

 
The mesh needs a hole cut out so the hoses can pass through, its only going to impede the airflow so I cut it out the full length of the rad. The rad is a bit longer than the mesh panel so the cut needs to go a bit further on each end.
 

 

 

 
Just enough room for the grill to click into place.
 
Still waiting on some Teleios cable sleeve to arrive so I put it altogether real quick to make sure everything works, one of the cards is pulling 1350mhz on air, the other is around 1250mhz. CPU is at 4.5ghz at 1.32v.

Coming along very nice so far, I cant wait to see what esle is to come.

Its amazing. The story not as good as previous titles though.

The heat didn't bother me, I've painted my fair share of parts but I usually take everything apart. I never thought about using plastic dip. I might have to try that next time.
