  1. Planing to pump another 200 MHz into my FX-8350 to 4.8 GHz. Right now I have it at 4.6 GHz @ 1.41-1.42V. Now a couple things I need some advice from people that are more experienced then me at OCing. Temps: Idle: 1-3C over ambient Load: 25-30C over ambient 1) Starting voltage? (I was planing to just start @ 1.5V and lower if its stable.) 2) Can I even do it with my motherboard (Asus M5A990x Evo R2.0)? (It's only a 6+2 Phase, and I don't know if it can deliver the power to have a stable overclock.)
  2. Go with front, bot, and side intake. Then a back, and top exhaust. And I hope the front side and bot have filters
  3. In teamfights, shouldn't drop below 80fps. The CPU is more important in league anyway.
  4. There shouldn't any performance issues, I tired many orientation with my DRP3 and no performance difference. Depends on the air flow of case.
  5. Looks bigger then my 7970 TOP
  6. Which ever one you want depending on your budget, they perform relatively the same.
  7. I suggest oveclocking the CPU to the best of your ability to get the most out of that card.
  8. Take a fan and tape it to the VRM heatsinks and hope for the best? And for the bottlenecking, it really depends on what game you play. And if you play those games that rely on CPU Single or Dual threads, the FX series gets smashed. But For GPU dependent games the FPS difference is negligible or within a margin or error. Hey, at least its playable.
  9. Do you think it might be the motherboard holding back the performance?
  10. If you can Overclock the CPU, it will remove some of the bottleneck. Give it at least a 4.5-4.8 GHz overclock.
  11. Any be quiet! Fan. Silent wing or Pure Wing, which ever one is cheap where you live.
  12. Even if you over clock, the DRP3 is enough. Also consider the performance/sound ratio, as the h100 will be a lot louder underload.
  13. Then why post in the air cooler section? But I heard the nzxt kraken x60 is pretty good. Or a good dual rad is the cooler master nepton series.
  14. Just don't like how you can't change the fans out. And this cooler from the benchmarks I saw would be to to loud for me personally. But noise is subjective.
  15. You do know he said no AIO coolers.
  16. Dark Rock Pro 3 by be quiet!
  17. The Phanteks PH-TC14PЕ is also a great performer, neck to neck to the Noctua NH-D15. But if you want a good looking cooler, I suggest the Dark Rock Pro 3 by be quiet!
  18. If you have good air flow through your case the temp drop from the extra fan might be neligable, but it won't hurt to try putting in the extra fan if you want to try. The extra fan will provide extra static pressure doe.
  19. Maybe try to pump more voltage through your bios settings?
  20. I've cut myself one day while spinning the PC fan with my finger. I was going to file an support ticket for cooler master to make safety fans.
  21. The good old, Luke/Slick, has a bag on head period of videos lol
  22. (3.5 mil Views) (Almost 3 mil views) Just love how Linus' most popular videos aren't PC related
  23. Was he like one of those people who sawed off his heatsink so it'll fit in the case
  24. Depends on what game your playing, CPU bound games you'll see a reduction in FPS for sure. You can check the bottle neck by running MSI Afterburner and seeing the GPU usage with V-Sync off.
