Aetherial reacted to _TechPuppet_ in Green H440 Special Edition "The Riddler" - Completed
Update 24 - Build Complete:
Here they are, the final pics of "The Riddler". Over the course of nearly a year you all have stuck with me watching the transition take place. I wanted this build to show character, be riddled with details and stand out and make a statement. I feel I have finally succeeded in this, of course with the help of some of you with your opinions and helpful criticisms, I hope that you all like the outcome and please feel free to comment and share your opinions on the completed build. I also wanted to give a shout out and thanks to my airbrush artist Sonny Naylor for this wonderful artwork. And so now I give you...
The Riddler
The End
Now on to the next build..

Got another update for you guys. I'll be headed to pick up the panels tomorrow before work. Unfortunately I have to go to work right after picking them up. I'll be working on taking pictures this weekend and posting them up as soon as I can. I'll more than likely be putting the fluid in either on Sunday or Monday and then taking more pictures of the build all together.

I honestly never liked The Riddler's colour scheme as a villain, seemed too close to the original Joker for my liking...
But I am certainly loving the way it is being used in this build! Keep up the awesome work TechPuppet!

This is looking nice Ryan, though I recommend taking a can of compressed air to it to clear off some of that dust safely. :')

Update 22:
Here are some new pics for you guys.
I'm nearly done, just finished bending the tubes and putting it together.
All I have left is filling her up and giving her a nice airbrushed mural.
Just recently purchased some cable combs to replace the ones I have now.
Still waiting on them due to weather conditions but you will see them in the final pics.

I have attempted everything
Then I found out that my right shift key was stuck, so I unstuck it, then it magically runs. Sorry for all the trouble I caused

Aetherial reacted to TDP_Equinox in Serious, complex PC problem (if you want some challange)
Sure. You have 5 years of computer experience.
When helping on a forum, I assume the person i'm helping has done nothing and is basically only capable of opening chrome and playing games. You really have to.
If someone is gullible enough to contact the regular fake microsoft scam, and nearly buy their "service", I can only assume that X person doesn't know the fastest or safest ways of installing windows, and may end up in the same virused up situation that they were in before, while trying to get drivers and flash and chrome etc.
Sure, I could have said it nicer. You're right. BUT. I don't care if you're paid or not, don't "help" if you aren't actually going to help. "Re install w1nd0ws l0l m8 u dun guffed" is not helping.
You think I get paid to come to this forum? No. Just like anyone else. But i put the effort in. It's expected of us to help each other, and once again, "Re install w1nd0ws l0l m8 u dun guffed", is not helping.

Aetherial reacted to guitarhero23 in [Build Log] **White Metropolis** A Water-Cooled Modular CaseLabs S5+Ped Build (Featured Build Log Winner, Possibly for Sale!)
Update:
Painting +Polishing update time!
I've been slaving away with the plastidip.
The Good:
I can remove it if I mess up
I can remove it when I sell parts for a new rig (if I ever do)
Easily available at auto store
The Bad:
It gets cold in my house so I have to run it under warm water or it comes out a little thick
If you accidentally rub into it too hard it will peel off (found this out the hard way)
Had to use like....9+ coats on everything to get it purely white
Doing the above makes it thick (lose a little detail)
Anyway. TO THE PICS.
And....
The most important update is....
Unfortunately the fact that it was delayed means it probably won't get here until after I have left for DC (Thursday night). If they try to deliver on Saturday it might be a problem because I sent it to my office where I work and noone is there then...anyone wanna wait and get it for me?
I'm hitting up Microcenter in DC and going to make a video VLOG of the mecca to Microcenter haha.

Aetherial reacted to DanWoodsPcMods in Project: Iron Man Parvum
Project: Iron Man Parvum
This project started because I just love Iron Man, its going to be a great color scene and I am going to have a lot of fun build it.
The Plan so far is to have a mini arc reactor 3D print for the front which is being done as we speak and maybe some airbrushing on the top, back and front.
Case: Custom Parvum S2.0
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Gene
CPU: Intel i7 4790K
GPU: Asus Ares III
Memory: Avexir custom made one of a kind Iron Man 16gb 1600mhz
SSD: 4 x Samsung Evo 840 250GB
PSU: Cooler Master v1200 Platium
WATER COOLING
All up in the air at the moment, plan on using all gold with red coolant. I keep on seeing pictures of this new amazing gold range that Bitspower has got but can not find anywhere to buy it, I will have to email them in regards to this one.
Well every project has to have a start and mine starts right at the beginning under Parvums CNC router.
Here are an amazing set of shots that Justin from Parvum was nice enough to take for me.
It's reserve ATX, wider and longer to fit my Ares 3 better and has a huge window in the top.

Aetherial got a reaction from anastasis33 in AMD FX 6300 overheats
83*C? That is indeed a hefty temperature for the inside of a System.
Providing it is installed correctly the 212EVO should cover it but do not take my word for it.
Once you've installed your system you should keep an eye on the Temperature, if it is still
hitting 70-80*C then you need to look into other problems such as the probability that the
case fans are not working correctly, or are working on a lower function than they should be.
Get back to us once the new Unit is installed!
Hope you get a Fix! =)

Aetherial reacted to Nakano2k1 in Overheating shutdown at low temps
What is your PSU?
If you could include the Motherboard as well as what bios version you're using, that would help a lot.
Are you using a SSD or regular hard drive?
What OS are you using? Most recent drivers? Any error messages?
The more information you can provide, the easier it'll be to diagnose.
