  1. The 1060 version of this is like $1900, how is this remotely close to his budget?

  3. PC turned off unexpectedly, when I turned it back on my graphics card set on fire....that was pretty scary.
  4. I'm with Virgin, and in the contract it says the pay goes up after like 9 months or whatever, when the time came too it I just told them I wouldn't pay them anymore or I'd change provider so they just kept the price the same. This might be useful information idk.
  5. Would you recommend I got for that? Or something more along the lines of what you suggested? It's just that the 6700 is pretty good, and if I don't use it for this it won't get used for anything.
  6. Are there not SFF MOBOS that are compatible with an i7 6700?
  7. These are both great, but can I be a pain. So I have an i7 6700 laying around, I've got the MOBO for it but that's just an ATX, so is there anyway to fit that into one of these builds? Obviously not the motherboard the CPU I mean? Thank again
  8. Ah, my bad, was convinced that's what a workstation was.
  9. No this isn't for me, it's for one of my grandparents. So it'll just be used for like, browsing, moving files really, nothing much more.
  10. Hey there! So I'm looking to build a mini PC, but I don't have much experience in this area and could do with some help. It doesn't need to have a graphics card as it won't be used for gaming, but I would like it to be fast for general workstation use. A budget of around £600 with flexibility Thanks in advance!
  11. Yeah I think so too, thanks for the help.
  12. Yeah I tried this to no avail, think I'm just gonna have to replace it, thanks for the help though.
  13. Yeah, I mean it's likely I touched it, but I ground myself often, so I don't think it is that, but that's literally all I can think of it possibly being. Yeah it should be.
  14. Yeah, and I've tried it in another slot
  15. Hi, so I've recently purchased a 970 EVO NvME m.2 SSD I've installed it fine, installed stuff on it fine etc. But I've recently bought a new cooler (dark rock pro 4) After installing this, my 970 EVO no longer works As in when I boot my PC There is no OS detected and I can't find it in my bios Any help would be great thanks
  16. I'd imagine it's your RAM, get ya self some dual channel and you'll be golden!
  17. I'm no expert, but, because it's the same machine, I assume, it's only one network cable, and one power cable right? So if you're trying to WOL the machine, it would only pick up the primary OS? Because the machine is just getting the signal to boot? I think that makes sense.

  19. Any specifications? So like, 1080p,1440p, 4k? 60Hz, 144Hz?
  20. I only use Windows Defender, and I don't can't say I've ever got a virus, or if I have I haven't noticed, although I do format my PC every two months or so. Most anti-virus' are just too in your face, I think.
  21. What are you doing when you notice the spikes?
  22. It probably will be something to do with gaming, they used 'GeForce'.
