Frostii99 reacted to Vendetta in "Sky Pollution" My white 760t build. Rebuild/upgrade.
WARNING: Photos are NOT going to be great, I'm using my phone and I'm complete shit at taking photos. Also the build name is cooler than the actual build.
So this is going to be a rebuild of my system that I've had for a little over a year now. For the longest time I was using an worn the fuck out Antec p180 case, which for its time was seriously amazing and with some modding could still be an awesome case. I don't have the time to do a heavily modded case and have my system down for the whole time while doing it.
This rebuild really came from me planning to donate my Hyper 212 to a fellow LTT member (@tmcclelland455) and I was going to use that as an excuse to buy a new cooler. Well the Antec only has 120mm fan mounts so liquid was out of the question in that case but I REALLY wanted some liquid cooling. So I figured fuck it let me look around for some cases while I'm at it. I remembered the Corsair 760t being gorgeous and how much I wanted it but the price tag was just unjustified so I kind of put it out of my mind. While looking for AIO liquid coolers I was talking to a buddy about what I was thinking (corsair H110) and for some reason I remembered the swiftech H220. I looked it up and it was like $30 more than the H110 and I just was like fuck that I'll stick with the H110. Well I did some more digging and found the H320 which has the 360mm rad and I just fell totally in love with it. It came with a hefty price tag but my buddy just told me to splurge and get it so that is EXACTLY what I did haha I even convinced myself that you know what FUCK IT I'm going to splurge and get the 760t also. And well here we are. Also the name came from the fact that the primary colors are white and blue but the motherboard and GPU PCB are a fucking shit brown, which totally ruins the build but I guess makes it sort of unique I hope lol.
Parts list:
i5 3570k, hopefully going to be running at 4.8ghz
MSi z77a g45 motherboard
MSi GTX770 Gaming Edition 2gb
Corsair 8gb (2x4gb) LP blue 1600Mhz ram
Swiftech H320 360mm AIO liquid cooler
Corsair cx750m psu
Pics will be coming soon!
Like tomorrow soon, I've having some issues with the fan controller and fan splitter but I should have them worked out by tomorrow. I'm too tired since I literally started the tear down as soon as I got home from working all day and just finished the build at like 12am at night.

I would like to introduce you to the Vault Boy, a Fallout inspired build.
For those of you who haven't seen it before, I have been working on this Bitfenix Prodigy case from about 2 months now over in the modding section. The case is now pretty much complete and I will be starting the build process pretty soon. If you want to see how the case ended up the way it looks now head over to my thread in the modding section here.
Firstly I'm gonna let you guys know the purpose of this build as I already have another pretty functional one lol. I'm gonna be using this in my bedroom as a HTPC and for console like gaming, meaning mostly games that you can play with a controller. So pretty much HTPC / Steam Box. However once it's done I will be using it as my main rig while I revamp the other one with some modifications to the case, haven't really decided what exactly yet. Also another reason I started this was because I just wanted to do some case modding for the first time and I gotta tell you it has been a joy working on this. I went with a Fallout theme and mostly with the vault boy because Fallout 3 is my all time favorite game and also I just wanted something different. Most mods for this case have been inspired by Singularity Computers.
Now, what has started as just a case modding project has turned into an actual build sooner than I thought it would.

Your own mistakes. The channel above has tips and tricks for modding as there are no set ways for modding your PC Case. Modding your PC takes your creativity and experimentation. Look at pictures of the type of mod you want to do and use your imagination!
Introduction:
(Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC_Modding)
Case modding is modding your case. This can mean everything from ghetto-mounting an HDD/SSD to making the case into something so far from the original you can't see they're the same product.
PC Customization is making your PC look like what you want it to look like. This can mean anything from cable sleeving to interpreting mods and making the case (or chassis) look like what you want it to look like.
Here are a few guide lines to follow when modding/customizing your case:
Be safe! Use your imagination! Be creative and come up with your own techniques Don't try to copy anyone! Take some ideas but don't do the same! Make the PC truly yours!
