  1. I have a 570, and it frankly has to little V-ram for me to fully perform my desired activities like *cough* *cough* VR porn *cough*, so a new GPU would be pretty goood.
  2. Yeah, with me saying that i didn't motivert to many differences i am meaning that i didn't notice to many differences betwean the types of surround types. And yeah, the Sony headset will probably be fine, but at this point it realy doesn't matter if I swap it out so It's more which would be best rather than if It's okey, and It's at this point that i need a bit of advice about the hazzles with the Sony one compared to the G933 (and if the G933 has inferior sound). So at this point It's basically weighting the hazzles of the Sony headset against a headset that might have inferior sound quality, but i don't know fore sure if it is noticeable. In addition, what about sound quality while for example listening to music or eatching a series, would there be any noticeable difference here? Also, tanks for your answer, I leart quite a bit from it.
  3. From what i can hear they all are a bit different and i don't rely think one is better than one other, so i think it mostly goes back to if it is worth the hassle to use a software solution or just deal with the quality drop (if there is any) that i would get by trading in for the G933.
  4. Yaah, okey, that kinda goes back to me being a noob regarding this topic.
  5. Doesn't that lower the general audio quality when you're for example listening to music? Also, if you know, is Razer surround comparable/equal in quality to the headsets with their own drivers?
  6. So i just got a pair of the Sony MDR 1ABT headphones, but i noticed that the headphones didn't have 7.1 surround or at last the virtual variety and as a audio noob i was wondering if i could get some help clearing some things up. I am currently using Logitech G35 headphones and i'm aware that they use a simulated 7.1 surround sound and from what I've read that's probably the beast as (as far as i know) the non-simulated surround sound is just pure snake oil. The thing is that i quite enjoy the and often use surround to locate enemies in games and such (not professionally or anything, still nice tho). I read that you can get 7.1 surround with programs like Razer surround, and that some games even include these drivers by themselves. So i am wondering if there is a lot of tinkering involved in this and if I would have to manually turn on and of Razer surround every time i wanted to play a game that doesn't have its own drivers. Also, in general, what games have their own drivers (CSGO, GTA BF3/4.....). If there is a lot of tinkering then i think that i might just trade the MDR 1ABT headphones for maybe the new G933, as I am looking for more of the plug and play experience incited of having to thinker with each new game i buy. So in that regard I'm also wondering if there would be any noticeable audio quality drop if i for example traded it in for the G933 (Other suggestions for headsets are also welcome). So please enlighten me HI-FI specialists and gamers of the world. (or if you just know something about the topic, I'm not that picky)
  7. OK, from what I've seen I'll probably go with a 970 , but what model do you suggest? saw someone suggest ASUS/MSI/GB, but i would like to hear more on that I have a Intel Core i7 2700K BTW
  8. I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570, and it has come to my attention that i need to upgrade because of newer games and lacking support. The problem is that i really don't know which graphics card i should buy. I am currently thinking of buying a 970, but i have no idea which 970 is best or even if i should go with a more OP card. I currently run 2 screens at 60 Hz 1080p (FHD), but i am thinking of getting a third screen. I mainly play Minecraft while modding it to the brink of destruction, but i also play a Skyrim, BF3, GTA 5, CSGO, Siv 5 and Half life 2, and i am thinking of getting some newer games like BF4. So what i'm looking for is a card that can support my current games and modding while having support for newer titles. Money really isn't too big of a problem, but i am not the guy to buy a extremely overkill card if i don't need it, but i am thinking that a bit over what i need is OK. The problem (as i mentioned earlier) is that i don't know which model is the best , and that's why i'm looking for advice here. How quiet the card is isn't that important, but it's always nice with a quieter computer. Also color matching doesn't really matter as i have a closed case with no matching colors already. I'm not only looking at performance but features in general. So, some advice would be nice With regards -a fellow PC gamer.
