      Skiiwee29

was taken down due to a possible leak of sensitive information.

  2. I have done a complete uninstallation of the Origin app using Revo Uninstaller twice now I am able to download and install all other games from Origin But i can not download or install Battlefield 1 BF1 is a game I had personally purchased When i access the store page in Origin it confirms that I own the game and all the DLC with it However it does not give me any option for downloading or installing The only button it shows me is "Details" or "View Details" but it just takes me to the same page (second screenshot) If i click on the gear icon there is no option to download or install either See screenshots attached

do the current LTT insulated water bottles actually say "linus tech tips" in large font along the length of the bottle?

  4. Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGB V2 $85 CAD https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/jjytt6/ek-ek-aio-basic-240-77-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-ek-aio-basic-240 vs EK EK-AIO Basic 240 $130 CAD https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/fLFKHx/cooler-master-masterliquid-ml240l-rgb-v2-6559-cfm-liquid-cpu-cooler-mlw-d24m-a18pc-r2 thoughts? I would like to choose the most reliable and quiet AIO, those are the priorities I would like to save money with the cooler master but i feel like the EK pump would run much quieter? ive never run liquid cooling before so wasnt sure if the Pump speed can be changed via argus (4pin fan header i guess?) Any other AIO i should consider under $130 CAD? ill be using my own noctua fans most likely anyways so im not concerned about fan performance
  5. you're correct, max channels is 2 on this CPU im guessing they stated quad channel because of how the software reports it in windows and/or they just made a mistake.
  6. okay apparently all i had to do was look it up on my favorite website and it says its actually running in quad channel lmao (notebookcheck) https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-X1-Carbon-Gen-9-Laptop-Review-Big-16-10-upgrade-with-Intel-Tiger-Lake.537905.0.html
  7. For example, the Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen9 offers "16 GB LPDDR4X 4266MHz (Soldered)" Does this config run in dual channel? I cant recall any reviewers talking about this aspect of soldered ram I understand some other models of laptop offer 8gb soldered + an extra dimm slot for user upgrades. But for these ultrabooks that dont have any extra Dimm Slots , what do i make of it? I only ask because in the past i have personally seen gains in the apps i use - when i upgraded to two identical sticks of ram vs single stick
  8. i work for my money - and i would want my new laptop to perform optimally and last as long as possible. If that means formatting it to get rid of all the bloatware AND lose my windows license in the process.... i would do it. Because i know i can get a cheap Win 10 key for $20 online. Personally, if the bloatware is an issue, i would nuke it, spend another $20 for a new Win 10 key if needed. If you care about the fan controlling software then check if you can just redownload it from their support page, if not, look into programs like Argus Monitor to see if its compatible
  9. 1. buy a faster kit if you think you will re-use the RAM in a future build (unless next gen is DDR5 and its not backwards compatible - we dont know when that will happen) and / or 2. buy faster ram if tis the same price as slower ram (maybe it will hold its value better when/if you decide to sell it in the future) 3. getting faster ram will not provide you with any benefits today with that i5 cpu. it will cap the memory speed to 2666mhz.
  10. That info helps, all the temperatures and usages look perfectly normal to me. Is Destiny the only game where you find this issue or is it in other games?
  11. when you play destiny, is your CPU and GPU running at 100% ? What is your RAM usage during idle and during gaming? what are the temps on your CPU on idle and during gaming? Do you have a lot of other applications running in the background? 75-80c is hot for that GPU. Can you describe the fan layout of your case?
  12. we need a lot more information before we can help you 1. Can you provide us with a full list of all your PC parts? CPU cooler, Power Supply, Case, etc (Post of a photo of the inside of your PC if you can as well) 2. Have you updated your motherboard bios and are your GPUu driver s up to date?
  13. i posted this issue on the adobe forums and i only got this one response https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/premiere-pro-no-longer-supports-intel-uhd-630/m-p/11488219?page=1#M302753 so im going to see if rolling back my igpu driver helps and/or see if going back to premiere pro v14.1 helps
  14. edit: i7-8700 with intel UHD 630 msi b360i gaming itx 16gb ram GTX 1080 ssd everything
  15. im running the latest build of Windows 10 Adobe CC and all apps are up to date bios is up to date iGPU drivers up to date iGPU still enabled in Bios Nvidia Drivers up to date. My render times have increased significantly and its really bogging me down. Before i would be able to use 20-40% CPU and 50-60% iGPU and 30-40% GTX 1080 and i could render out projects within 15 minutes and now for the same projects its no longer using my iGPU but maxing out CPU and my render times have increased to 25 minutes. this is significant because i have to render out MULTIPLE difference versions of my project for the client Any thoughts? edit: i7-8700 with intel UHD 630 msi b360i gaming itx 16gb ram GTX 1080 ssd everything
  16. cmos cleared - bios is already updated - no voltage offsets... cant change any of those things on B360 Bought the CPU brand new Aug 2018 - would that be covered under warranty?
  17. Specs: i7-8700 (non-k) cooled with Hyper 212 evo MSI B360i Gaming itx 16GB Corsair 2400mhz GTX 1080 Corsair RMx 550w (gold) Bios is up to date and all settings are default. CPU temps never went over 65c but now is approaching 80c When i first built this PC i distinctly remember my CPU would never hit more than 1.298v during sustained all-core boost of 4.3ghz all on its own. However over the last few months i noticed that now its creeping up to 1.348v And now over the last few days its regularly going up to 1.398v to 1.404v now… Windows is up to date, Bios settings are all set to default, i haven’t changed anything in there…any ideas? Edit 1: i have cleaned and reapplied and reseated my CPU and CPU cooler
  18. Are these the names of the software you are using?
  19. Well im planning on buying directly from the xbox store. i dont think they even sell the older non-bluetooth units anymore https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/accessories/controllers/xbox-wireless-controller good catch though
  20. Edit 1: My buddy created a plex server with the Define R6 and loaded it with HDDs, and he hasnt had any issues with temps either.
  21. i dont like the price they set for the new Define Cases. IMO temps are not an issue. - i have the Define R5 which has a more restrictive dust filter than the new Define 7 BUT.... Removed the middle HDD cage, have one 140mm intake and one 140mm exhaust set to medium fan speed (case has a switch) and my temps are fine. GTX 1080 doesnt go over 70c and boosts to its max clock speed as rated.
  22. I'm planning on buying an official Xbox Wireless Controller for my PC. My PC already has a Bluetooth adapter four questions : 1. Is Bluetooth all i need to connect to the controller? 2. What does the Xbox wireless adapter for Windows 10 do? I'm only planning on using one controller on this PC. 3. Does the Xbox wireless adapter provide lower latency compared to Bluetooth? 4. Will the controller work over a wired connection? Thanks.
