  1. the best jet pens carries is 2B which is what im currently using. I might get at 0.5mm pencil and get lead for that at some point.
  2. Yeah, i like softer lead because it lets me make really dark solid lines without much pressure at all. If i want lighter lines ill just use less pressure. The longevity is not such a big deal for me. As far a pens are concerned i don't really use them because most of what i do is maths these days and being able to make edits is a must. I checked jet pens and i could not find 0.7mm 4B, the best there was was some 0.5mm 4B
  3. bought a blackwing 602 which they claim is the best pencil in the world. The rubber is great but i have to say the writing experience is not quite as nice as my rotring 800. Due to the rotrings weight and the fact that im using 2B lead it takes pretty much no pressure on my part to get nice dark lines with the thing compared to the blackwing. I think if i was doing large amounts of writing it would be better just because it weights nothing but is still soft but for normal day to day use I think the Rotring tops it. Now i just need to try and find 4B 0.7mm lead.
  4. it wont make it feel any better to type on than any other touch keyboard. The lack of travel is annoying and tactile feedback no matter how good will not help that.
  5. I was under the impression that the SCUF controllers were just modded dual shocks, so technically still first party but with more shit on them.
  6. now the question is this, the benq or just go all in and get 3x40 inch 4k
  7. 184 hours 7 comp wins and no rank
  8. pretty sure red exclusive content is sponsored directly by google. The creator loses nothing from creating red content because they no matter what the views are they will still get paid, or it will just have really high cpms which means they can still make money off a smaller viewer base.
  9. while i get the hype behind usb 3.1. I dont see why you would really want a board maker to put heaps of the connectors on if it was going to increase cost. I mean, what are people even using these things for. No hard drive is really going to be able to saturate 3.1 unless its ssds in raid 0/1 which is going to be expensive and unless you are running onboard graphics what are you using the display out capabilities for.
  10. I dont drop boards out of service on an upgrade, they just go somewhere else, that would mean i would have to buy more adapters anyway. Most peripherals are going to be usb 2.0 so plugging them into a 3.1 port is a waste. Having more of the ports results in higher board costs. Then there would be stupid shit like, i doubt that anyone making ps2 to usb adapters is going to make them in type c so i would if i wanted to use something like a model m i would need to go from ps2 to usb 2.0 to type c which is dumb and adds 2 extra points of failure. Speaking of points of failure, every time you have an adapter thats one extra point of failure, and troubleshooting it means that you have to determine what is actually dead, the adapter or the device itself. Also concerning your type c to 10Gbe, any adapter that you can find now probably costs much more than it should if it even exists and i doubt it would have the same configurability, stability and performance consistency than say an intel 10Gbe nic like i said, on a laptop go for it, the connecters are small and you can fit heaps on in addition to being versatile but on a desktop i want easy backwards compatibility. I dont want to run into a situation where i want to connect some random device only to realise that i don't have the right adapter on a platform that has ample room just to put on more ports
  11. camera people, nice to have for legacy support. Maybe you have that one drive that for some reason only has usb 2.0 and firewire and i know i would much rather use firewire than usb 2.0
  12. if this was a laptop i would say sure, give me nothing but 3.1 type c but this is a desktop motherboard and adapters cost money and are annoying, I would rather just drop the video out and fill it with 3.1 type c/type a/ 3.0 type a and 2.0 type a ports and drop down to 3 audio ports, 5.1 is a waste of time. Also ps2 ports would be nice to see. Also dual gigabit nics can stay.
  13. if ever in doubt just check MAL for order.
  14. if your chasing the business side of it the same way i am, a decent grasp of maths is good to have but you dont need anything spectacular. You dont need anything more than what a business degree would ask of you if your going to be a project manager.
  15. just use hyper v. Its piss easy and if it does not worth then start looking at some more fancy solution.
  16. I dont see why anyone would bother with the magic mouse going forward. I have one and I paid for it and even in osx the gestures are not that big a deal and i would rather just use my death adder. On my macbook pro apple is still king of trackpads and that is more than enough.
  17. They are what you use to save game data to when you play Namco Bandai arcade games, when I say arcade games i mean as in go to an arcade and feed it money arcade games. The 2 games that use the Banapassport are the various variations of Tekkan and Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4/5. In this case I'm a maxitune player.
  18. Bannapassports for days, bought a whole bunch of tekkan ones off some ebay seller in Japan. Going to split them with my friend. My main one is the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 10th Anniversary OST Box Set one which probably has about $1500 worth of play time on it. Most of that being on my S15 and a bit on an EVO V
  19. A completely unnecessary product, I love it.
  20. obtained a fiiO x1 in order to get around the fucked headphone jack on my nexus 5 and hopefully allow it to last a bit longer on battery. I did not know that there were 2 colorways and i should have told Headphonic that i wanted the silver one but oh well. I kinda want to try and paint it black anyway so no big deal. Need to get a 128GB micro sd card for it though. My only real issue with the x1 is that making local playlists is a pain in the ass and a complete wasted of time. Also with large lists momentum based scrolling like on the ipod touch would be amazing but hey, it was only $140 vs close to $400 for a no fucked Ipod classic. I do want to try to make a 1TB ipod at some point though not that i have any need for that much storage. I also got a new cable for my SE215s because the stock cable is currently broken
  21. oh yeah, i just remembered that in shirabes GX henshin you can see her vag.
  22. the main problem with movie subs is often the lack of simulcast so you have to wait for a BD release to sub the sucker and then everyone just forgets about it.
  23. I play a lot of typeracer bottoming out is not really a bad thing but if you want to stop it you will have to go to much heavier switches, mx blues are not that heavy compared to browns and reds and you would have to make the jump to greens or even buckling springs to stop it.
  24. Kyokai no Kanata movie, maybe free movie
