  1. You will lose some frames especially if you are playing at 1440p or lower resolutions. But it may not matter much if you are playing at 4K UHD. Based on this video, around ~10fps give or take depending on the game. But generally speaking, it's fine. You won't notice the difference, at least for me. A
  2. The Zotac GTX 980 Ti AMP is pretty much a great deal. I ordered after reading some 980Ti reviews. You can still overclock it further to match other high end versions of the GTX 980 Ti. Currently the AMP is also the cheapest. Not sure if prices have already changed. But at the time I ordered one it was the cheapest.
  3. The DDR4 variant is actually available now. Men, this Raiden memory looks wicked! But I'd prefer their Red Tesla more compared to this white and blue. Photo credit: Avexir Raiden DDR4 review
  4. I forgot all about the GTX 950 Ti or something like that. I was expecting something like a 960 Ti as well or "965".
  5. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 Ti and non-ti is a possibility after all... Via: http://thepcenthusiast.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx-950-ti-might-be-coming-soon/
  6. Hi Guys, I'm interested in getting a new notebook, one that is lightweight and is very easy to carry around. I read about Lenovo's new LaVie Z the so-called "lightest" notebook. And I was thinking if this is a good buy or not? Brand new price starts at $1,699.99 which is somewhat expensive. But I saw a site where I can get it for as low as $1409 http://thepcenthusiast.com/lenovo-ecoupons-discounts-2015/ I guess my second option would be the Carbon X1 (3rd Gen) which was actually my first option. Not to mention, the Carbon X1 is cheaper as well. I need something fast and very portable. Most tasks I do are documents and photo related stuff. Let me know what you think guys. Thanks for the input!
  7. Honestly, you won't see any performance difference between the two in real world use, atleast most of the time. Both SSD's are great and are already fast compared to others. Go for 850 Pro if you have the money and you want durability/endurance, warranty. 850 Evo if you are somewhat budget constraint. Here's a review of the 850 Pro recently published: http://thepcenthusiast.com/samsung-850-pro-ssd-review-256gb/
  8. Here's a review of the Kingston HyperX Cloud by the way. http://thepcenthusiast.com/kingston-hyperx-cloud-pro-gaming-headset-review/ They are going to release a HyperX Cloud II but I'm not sure if the sound quality is better than the first Cloud.
  9. I heard they will be releasing a new version of HyperX Cloud. A Pro version. I'm not sure if it's going to be a rebrand as well. But I hope it will have a better sound quality this time for music lovers.
  10. The Beyerdynamic T90 sounds great to, IMHO.
  11. Normally I would suggested an audiophile DAC/AMP since the sound quality that they produced is simply better than those onboard or audio card. But if you are looking for a DAC/AMP from Creative, the E5 or X7 should be a good option.
  12. I'm not sure how much are these, but you can also try Objective2+ODAC or the iFi iNano DSD. But the D1 should be okay.
  13. I've tried the HyperX Cloud. It's great, sounds great, not really an audiophile level but close enough since it's a rebrand of a headphone that is geared from music listening.
  14. Those "true 7.1" are just marketing BS. there are some with real 7 drivers inside and other are just plain synthetic. If you want something that has a really great sound quality, get the heaset from Sennheiser or Audio Technica.
