Recently my friend bought an Alienware computer he has the money and I didn't want to be his tech support so I encouraged him to go for it. Well he is always asking my friend and I about our frame rates, and how to adjust different settings on his graphics card etc... Well one time I went to his house to check it out and was shocked by the amount of bloatware on it and was not impressed but his windows startup time. Well he was nagging me to look into it so I ran task manager and a whopping 163 tasks loaded after about 8 min. Now he was a console kid before this and had come over to my house to check out my computer and wanted the same type of boot times about (26 sec) since his was a third more money than mine. (BTW for some reason he was obseced with boot times and a douche bag at best buy nearly sold him a $3,500 Mac because the boot time is low even though the salesman knew he wanted to game. He called me from best buy thank god I stopped that from happening. ) I told him hey you bought the service plan for a reason right contact Alienware and have them help you. Well he did and actually told me the next day the tech on the phone was optimizing his settings and when he got to his graphics card. He said the Tech laughed at him, I asked why and found out that the TV he hooked up to the computer was native 720p epic facepalm.

Oh yeah I understand that now we have AIO's but when I press the button on the big white full tower case next to my desk and people say why do you need three computers on your desk. Remember I just pressed the power button on the giant whit case next to my desk.

Ooh boy, never buy anything in anticipation of something else, especially something as expensive as a 4k monitor. You're better off with a 1080ti, because Vega 64 has mad power consumption and piss poor performance compared to what it was hyped to be.

none. The i5 is better than any AMD processor. Power is lower, single core performance is alot better, multi core is a little better (depends) and better upgradeability, and motherboards.

I love gaming now that I'm old.  I can afford a top of the line rig, games, and all that other shit.  Gaming only gets better as you get older, you'd be surprised how many people over 40 game.

He always claims it's on his ankle, but you never actually see it. It's something a product manager would do, convey the precautions but in reality be loose about them since it probably just gets in the way and clutters up an already-cluttered office. The possibility of a failure is there since an esd discharge you can't even feel can potentially damage the board, but in reality this never exists, especially in a moderately-humid environment (off the coast of BC mind you.) I'm also educatedly-guessing that you would need an impressive amount of voltage to kill a premium-end board. The mat on the table is probably enough and there isn't carpeting in the kitchen.
 
Take a look at the convention videos, he always holds up gpu's freely touching the gold contacts and even this is usually not enough to damage a part even considering you're walking around everywhere with rubber shoes.
