Sulfatron got a reaction from TechTheWorld in Corsair 900D build! Under Red Water
Hi all!
This is my first post on this forum, I've been following Linus & Slick for a little while now and have decided to join this great forum!! Lots of nice threads :) and very nice builds..
I'm one of the lucky ones who managed to score a 900D on Corsair's website when they did a flash sale about a month ago, all I can say is that this case is unbelievably good and is somehow close to perfection when it come to water cooling.
I've gone for a red/black theme with a touch of titanium/grey, mainly EK fittings and water cooling parts where used for this build.
As you can see, I didn't bother water cooling the graphics cards, makes it easier to upgrade them in the future (probably the only parts I will upgrade in the years to come).
I will add the list of parts I've used for my build later today and will try to list the fittings as well (too many fittings).
I will also upload some benchmark and temps monitor screenshots for those who are interested ;) .

Sulfatron got a reaction from CountChoculitis in Corsair 900D build! Under Red Water
Thx, Just go for it!! Once you try watercooling, you'll never go back to air or closed loop cooling ;) .
The rad fans are SP120s quiet edition and all the other case fans are AF120 & AF140, also quiet edition.
I use a couple of these to power all the fans (Phobya Multi Fan);
I also use two 7v adapters for the SP120s and a single 7v adapter for the AF120s. Keeps the fan speed very low and quiet.

Yes, plenty of room in front of the PSU with a single 480 rad, you could even have room for a D5 right next to the PSU (near the second PSU slot) is you use a 420 rad or squeeze a DDC pump with a large 480 rad.

Sulfatron got a reaction from TicTac in Corsair 900D build! Under Red Water
I was planning to do a second loop for the GPUs but abandoned the idea as the GPUs are the thing I will probably upgrade a few time during the life of my computer.
It gives me the freedom to test & upgrade to other GPUs without having to break the loop and buy expensive blocks every time :wacko: .
