  1. I use that model of radiator for overclocking and I don't care about noise. It's a tool not a fashion accessory.
  2. It's only worth it if you're legit overclocking and getting HUGE radiators.
  3. Sounds like you want the Taichi. My board is from 2015 and is still the highest end mATX mobo available so that's not always a bad thing.
  4. Max limit 2 per customer so you have some time to think about it.
  5. Optane support is the main reason I'd get 270 over 170. I'm not planning on keeping the board for too long if I get it anyway.
  6. ASUS has a feature where you can update the BIOS without a CPU.
  7. I'd take a high end air cooler over any AIO CLC. The best thing to do is order a couple of WC parts every time you buy something on amazon or newegg.
  8. Very important. At least x50 more than RGB LEDs.
  9. They make rads much bigger than 240 or 280. A lot more than 2-5c is to be gained. If you're talking about CLC from Corsair or Cooler Master etc. yes those are kind of a waste of money.
  10. Many sites say that the ASRock Taichi and the C6H are the best in that dept.
  11. Yeah I've used the Gelid for years. Ran out the other night so now I have 11g of Kryonaut in route to try out.
  12. I use a single D5 on a Phobya Nova 1080mm (9x120mm) rad and it works great. I usually only use block though.
  13. Kryonaut or GC-Extreme http://overclocking.guide/thermal-paste-roundup-2015-47-products-tested-with-air-cooling-and-liquid-nitrogen-ln2/6/
  14. Had issues with 5ghz stability so this for now But I hit 5.251GHz for CPU-Z validation, 24th fastest in the world
  15. Maximum on my air cooler. Scored higher with memory and cache pushed at 4.5 than at 4.625 with cache and memory set slower. I'll be benching my phase change tomorrow then back on my loop.
  16. Nick Shih said on overclock.net So this platform is not an overclocker. I wouldn't expect much unless something gets seriously overhauled.
  17. Try and get everything you can't test within a few days of each other. So wait on RAM and MOBO until you have the CPU ordered. Yeah I'm the same. I'd only build a super flashy giant if it was completely over the top and way too expensive. Well, I guess my TT Core P3 tempered glass is a touch flashy

  19. K I have to get back to work now. I'm not leaving because you disappoint me.
