Then $80 used lol. I'm set up for SFP+ 10G but I'd like a RJ45 NIC especially with the black and grey hotness.

I'll snag that NIC if it's sub $80

True. If its for something mission critical it's best to go new anyway.

I'd buy used. These went up $100 recently but it's still a good deal http://www.ebay.com/itm/SR1XH-INTEL-XEON-E5-2683V3-2-00GHz-35M-14-CORES-9-6-GT-s-120W-PROCESSOR-/352016767015?hash=item51f5d59827:g:lhsAAOSwsW9Y2t~6

E5-16xx Xeons don't work in multi-CPU. 26xx is to use 2 processors, 4xxx for 4, 8xxx for 8 CPUs.

Good and I commend you. Most of the time it's people just looking to be offended about something. These people a lot of times see racism in everything(for example) because they're in fact racist themselves.

Draining and re-filling for LAN party
dexT replied to reniat's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
You only have to leak test if you need to remove a line to drain. And you only test that fitting. -
Those are 'trendy' shows that are forced down our throats and have douchebag political messages etc. Only assholes watch those.

Which X370 motherboard is best for Ryzen 1800X?
dexT replied to SJones's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
VRM on the XPOWER was confirmed to use the same components as the MSI 970/990 chipset boards, it's an embarrassment and shouldn't have the 'XPOWER' name attached http://www.overclock.net/t/1624051/vrm-on-the-new-am4-motherboards/120 C6H or the ASRock Taichi are the only boards I'd consider. -
They should have put out the Matrix Platinum. I love the grey but that RGB thing is hideous. The block is lackluster. Yuk.
-
It'll still get hot when overvolted. My heatspreaders get warm like my VRM heatsink to the touch when benching.
-
Try 5 or 5.1 @ 1.5v. Sandy can handle more voltage than newer chips.

The 900D does not have tempered glass. Every so often they get a $100 rebate on Newegg. The Thermaltake Core X71 is similar to the 900D but has a glass version.

Getting extremely hyped for the 1400... for 169
dexT replied to MakeAMDGreatAgain's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I'd get the X370 Prime. You want a good board in case you want to upgrade CPU later. This RAM would look sick with it https://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-TridentZ-PC4-25600-Platform-F4-3200C16D-16GTZSW/dp/B01JG4ILCE/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1490920497&sr=1-3&keywords=TRIDENTZ+3200 -

Help with EK kit and Thermaltake core p3
dexT replied to steelkid's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Something like these fx pedal bike links would do it or any small piece of metal with holes https://www.amazon.com/Pedalboard-Supplies-PBS-PL-16-Mounting/dp/B017U6T8KO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1490761458&sr=8-5&keywords=effects+pedal+links I use the P3 and luckily my Monsoon MMRS D5 top/cap kit lines up perfectly on the mount.
