after a software update my S10 deleted all of my photos. i would really like to recover them as i was on holiday at the time and lost all of my holiday photos that hadnt been backed up already. i didnt have the recycle bin feature turned on unfortunately so they didnt end up in there. Ive found what i think is a lot of misinformation about the best way to do this. Ive used the app "disk digger" and it has recovered all the low quality thumb nails from the phone but it says i cant get the high quality ones without rooting my phone. ive looked up rooting the s10 and ive read that it deletes everything off the phone so surely that wont help me. ive also looked at software called "Gihosoft free android data recovery" but that seems dodgy and im not sure it would yield a better result that what disk digger has. Samsung have told me they cant do anything
