  1. I bet he would be able to play on low, if that is not the case it looks like the thing to upgrade is only the gpu.
  2. I am interested in helping, but I need to know what it is that i need to do. Would you like us to give you writen input, do we need to play bf4 with you, what's going on. If you just want some people to write comments my comment would be to try to collect a group of teammates you can talik to when playing. WHen i play with a few of my friends no matter how bad they are we can always manage to cap and hold a better k/d. Seccondly I would reccomend for players who are not as accurate to play less agressively; take advantage of cover and move around the edges of the map that way you are not open to be shot from behind. If you want to add me on just about anything just search for TryHardPajamas
  3. Performance wise I am unaware as to which option is best, but either way both options would yield great performance. The biggest deal breaker for myself is SLI; I personally do not have any experience with SLI but i have heard from several credible sources that it is not your best bet if the second option has equal performance and is reasonably priced.
  4. Not to be rude, but there are better things to spend your money on. Building a watercooled rig for "fun" with the lowest end parts is a waist of your/parents money.
  5. No I take that back, some of my other all time favorite games where for my gameboy color and my gameboy advance SP + backlight :P I remember all of the Mario games, the crapy razing games i had as well as the dexters lab platformer game.
  6. Jak and Daxter, Spyro, Ratchet and clank, Rayman. Most of my favorite games/ classic games are ps1 and ps2 titles.
  7. Here is a link with a connector with wings on the side. http://sleeve-modding.com/image/cache/data/CONNECTOR/CKX5559_12P_CKX5557_12R%20red_set-1000x666.jpg here is another example of an extender with wings. http://www.moddiy.com/products/24%252dPin-Motherboard-Power-Male-Connector-%252d-Transparent-White.html
  8. I am looking at supplies for doing some custom cables and in the process of doing so I have found some aftermarket connectors that are colored to match the sleeve, but they have wings that I think are unnecessary. I was wondering why are the wings there, are they for extensions. Also, who sells some good connectors that aren't black, don't have wings, and are not transparent. A lot to ask for, but I appreciate it.
  9. Well that is a great tip, I will make sure to avoid purchasing from them. Your support experience with them sounds like my experience with ASUS; I had a broken board and they gave me hell when i was trying to RMA it back to them. Everything I said was manipulated to make it sound like it was my fault. I appreciate a company with great support like EVGA!
  10. lol, i think you are the only one tensely watching this topic. I myself am watching a video and surfing the forum, but would not mind getting the mirrors edge code :p
  11. Love the build, I am jealous of you building a home server. I myself want to build one but I am just procrastinating. :P
  12. I bet you would be fine on ultra, but I can personally play BF3 on any setting with out being bothered. THe biggest thing I am interested in is FPS. If I were you though, i would play on 1080p but on med/high settings to get a higher fps with more detail.
  13. Ok, I may be new at at sleeving but I am diving head first into it thanks to the help of everyone here and Overclocked.net with a special thanks to @lutro0customs and his great work he has done as well as @WildTurtle for being so willing to answer any questions I have had. I have gathered about a page of information regarding price per M, diameter, and bit more, but I am missing one thing. Do any of you know the diameter for MDPC sleeve? ALmost every other brand of sleeve is 4mm so I am assuming they may have simply conformed to MDPC. Any help would be great because this is important for matching brands together to make a set of cables match to your desired color palate.
  14. Why can I not compare them? They are what AMD has on the market, and I do not like comparing hypothetical items/ideas with tangible ideas. The main point I was making was the power efficiency AMD lacks, which is something you are neglecting to agnollage.
  15. The problems people are experiencing with AMD will not be entirely fixed with drivers, the problem lies in the hardware which may take a few more iterations to completely resolve.
