  1. does anybody knows why when setting 0% for any fan, the goes to min RPM's but it doesnt actually turn off? MSI b450 board here. also @rem0o is there a way of making the software start on windows startup?
  2. oh, I see. would be nice to have the placeholder be a nice looking icon, just like the one on your avatar. also, notice that when changing the label on the controls section the cursor indicator does not show (imposible to know where letters will be inserted), I think it is the cards color's.
  3. I can confirm this great software works with "MSI - B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC" To identify the fans, so far can't get fans to go completely to zero, so I had to set the lowest speed posible and then stop them by hand, the RPM readout will go to zero. also, @Rem0o is there a way to change the system tray icon? something like a white fan blades (like your avatar) would look better than text FC...
  4. Litecoin is great, because it is not a gimmick coin like many other,,, its been around for many years, it have a nice development roadmap. I think it is a good cryptocurrency, read about it and make your own mind.
  5. its safe if you sell to reputable person... otherwise would not recommend it.
  6. nice rig, I was just wandering why mining? you build it for the knowledge and tinkering ich,, or for the possible coins you will get from it? It looks like the ROI would be hard to hit... You didnt ask me but, if I were you and had 2k to invest in cryptos, I would buy coins directly. Good Luck.
  7. Nice to see that a 290X can stay relevant with DX12, I hope this stay true to other DX12 games! I own a 290x and it is serving me well so far.
  8. For me something like this look interesting, what do you guys think? not posting links,,, its a project I saw on kick***ter. if you like the idea, look it up on google "passfort"
  9. update first post with pics of the final PC + setup. this are some pics of the process (Pics with Nexus5, just so you know.)
  10. Keyboard: If you like the clean-look of most mech-keyboards like ducky/filco you will love the CM storm qfr, I owned one and loved it, I change it for a k70 because I wanted backlit. Corsair's keyboards are top quality. Mouse: I dont like razers products,, too flashy for my taste. Corsair M45 is optical and small, thinks I like for windows (I couldnt find one for the right price), other than that for gaming I move to bigger a bigger mouse, a Steelseries rival (this one is BIG but very precise). Headset: I am looking for a pair of this too, I found this vid very interesting in the matter. after looking at it I will go with the Sennheiser HD 429. good luck.
  11. I have a k70 with reds... my only problem is the red leds,,,, I want to change it all to white.
  12. this rad is aluminum,, the block is copper thou, so I time will tell.
  13. - It was easy once I set it all up for the task, I mean fix the tubes to the bowl so they dont move over the fluid and suck air.... also have a big enough bowl to submerge the rad (just part of it) a PSU with a molex adaptor to run the pump.... - Well, I didn't measure the flow rate. - Yep, I use distilled water + my car coolant (it should have all the anticorrotion stuff need. This was my first water cooler experience, so I went the cheap route (since the unit was bought used). Also since I am in a crappy country with no real dealer of computer parts let alone custom water cooler parts, I have to take advantage of the little I can find. You cant Imagine how much I pay to import all the parts I need for the pc I am putting together. (I think that money would buy me a good custom loop, for sure)
  14. They come seal so the not so DIYer users toss them when one element of the loop fails. And to make it easier for the companies to control the whole product. Functionally speaking the is not diff seal or not seal, you just have to take your time when filling it up. Also you can add a reservoir which makes the refill a piece of cake.
  15. I fill a bowl with fluid, them I manually fill the inlet tube and submerge it in the blow, them I suck (still manually) thought the outlet tube until it was half full... Them submerge it in the bowl. After that I ran the pump, first pulsing it on and off until both tube were full, them I let it run for half hour, with the ocational shakes to make sure no air bubble is trap in the pump. Them and while the pump was running I connect the outlet tube to the radiator and let it fill, them shake it to get air bubbles out. After all that and hopefully no more air in the rad, I submerged the rad connectors in the fluid and connect the inlet tube to the rad... Done, so far its running great, the sound is pretty similar of before the mod.
