  1. Ok, thanks for the help! I'll swap the cpu's and order the 6750xt and some extra 16gb of ram.
  2. I do have an other pc with a Ryzen 5 5500 inside, would it be better to swap the cpu's over since i only use that pc for office workloads?
  3. Hi, I've been out of the game for a long long time and I have no idea wich graphics card would suite me best to upgrade to. Been having a lot of crashes with starfield and stuttering with my current GC even while playing on low. So i'm thinking it's time for an upgrade. Budget is between €350 and €500. I was looking at this card at the moment: https://www.megekko.nl/product/1962/1054780/AMD-Videokaarten/Asus-Radeon-RX-6750-XT-DUAL-RX6750XT-O12G-Videokaart But maybe there are better options price wise? My current system -Ryzen 7 1700 - 16 gb ram - 1tb SSD - 1440p - RX 480 8GB Games i play are: - EA FC 24 - Starfield - Pro Cycling Manager - Assassins creed - Jedi Fallen order
  4. Hi Guys, I just bought some cheap 2nd hand 1080p monitors for 60 euros. They are both Acer x233 with dvi and vga ports. I'm also running anonther hp monitor with dvi. My pc is running a rx 380 8gb with one dvi port, one hdmi port and 3 display ports. To connect all the monitors i'm using one vga to hdmi adapter, the dvi port and one vga to displayport adapter(amazon basics is rated for 1080p). And now i'm having problems with the displayport adapter. The monitors all work fine on 1080p when i use them with either the hdmi adapter or the dvi cable but as soon as i use the displayport adapter the max resolution i get is 1600x900. I think the problem is with the displayport adapter drivers since i used it previously with a 1600x900 screen. My guess is it's stuck in these settings. I've tried to delete the drivers but it keeps re-installing the same generic pnp display driver. I've tried force installling the acer specific drivers but to no avail. Is there any way to change the resolution in windows from 1600x900 to 1920x1080 if it's not showing up in displaysettings?
  5. Hi there, First let me introduce myself. I'm a 24-year old Belgian occasional gamer(1080p) who also uses his pc to record music with Magix samplitude and I'm looking for a new PC. Currently i have found two builds in a local store but i can't really decide on which configuration would be best for me. The first one is a pc with an i5 4460 and a gtx 970 https://www.dragoncomputers.eu/actie44443181974508?search=7 The second one is a AMD pc with a fx 8350 and a rx480 https://www.dragoncomputers.eu/gamerPCs-vanaf-600/ati-gamer-vanaf-600/AMD-FX-8350-8-Core-8x4.0GHz-turbo:-4.2Ghz-razendsnelle-RX-480-grafische-kaart-met-8GB-GDDR5-500GB-HDD-8GB-DDR3-DVDRW I still have a 240gb ssd laying around that i'm planning to install myself and both would come with 8 gb of ddr 3 memory which should be fine for now. My biggest question right now is mainly this. Should i go for the better single threaded performance for recording music or is it better to get more lower powered core's? Or should i focus on the better graphics card to get more longevity out of the system? Thank's in advance, Andreas
