Naamari reacted to Silentsoul in Windows 10 and Chrome 64bit Loading Circle
    Issue:

When launching Chrome on windows 10 the mouse loading indicator keeps spinning as if it is still trying to do something after chrome is fully launched.

    Thoughts and Testing:

At first i thought this was an isolated issue on my secondary rig that i updated to Windows 10 just to get a feel for it and to start tweaking. After upgrading my sons PC it had the same issue with Google chrome so i figured i would share my findings if anyone else is having this same issue.

My first step was doing a clean install of Windows 10 on my secondary rig as i was already going to do it anyhow. This issue still occurred.

So, after some digging and testing.

    Fix:

    1. Launch chrome
    2. Type chrome://flags/#disable-direct-write in the search bar and hit enter.
    3. Navigate to where "Disable DirectWrite" is highlighted and enable it.
    4. Restart Chrome and done.

    Conclusion:

If no one else was having this issue then great but i assume i was not the only one considering i had it occur on multiple computers. So, in conclusion, if this helped one single person out then it was worth posting it.
