  1. Yes, you can use the Vive controllers and lighthouses with the Index.
  2. Most VR games display what you see on the monitor anyway so theoretically it's possible, but I'm not sure if anything like that actually exists. The biggest problem would be controlling it, since you can't really simulate moving your hands, pressing the buttons and moving the headset all with a keyboard and mouse. If the game can be played in VR with a regular controller then maybe it would work, if the software exists. The reason a lot of games are VR exclusives is because they would only work in VR. Beat Saber is a good example of a game that would only work in VR, because it would be impossible to play it with a regular controller without altering it so much that it essentially becomes a different game. What game are you wanting to play?
  3. They're listed on scan.co.uk, but they're not all in stock right now. https://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/cpu-amd/2922/2921/2920/2932
  4. I have these now: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B077TRXYCN They're ok, but they don't sound that great. I'm loooking for something with better audio quality.
  5. For indoor use mostly, so that I can move around the room with headphones on. I have a cheap pair of bluetooth headphones that I use now and I've never had any latency issues with them. I assume that a higher quality pair will work the same or better.
  6. I'm looking for a pair of over-ear bluetooth headphones, preferably under £200 but I could go over if it's worth it. I don't need active noise cancelling or anything like that, I just need good sounding headphones for movies and games.
  7. I think it plays in stereo. I've never had any problems with stereo headphones.
  8. I think you can just re-use the same key. That's what I always do whenever I reinstall Windows 10 and I've never had any problems.
  9. Which of these two power supplies would be best to get? Seasonic FOCUS Plus Gold 650W: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073H33X7R/ EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0100QRVP0/ Is the EVGA one worth the few extra pounds, or should I just get the Seasonic one?
  10. I'm looking for a pair of over-ear headphones that need to have bluetooth and a wired connection option as well. My budget is around £50-60, but I could spend more if there is a big improvement in quality. I currently have these headphones: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B077TRXYCN They are fine, but the audio quality isn't very good. I need something like these, but with better quality audio.
  11. I'm looking for a new pair of wireless (must be bluetooth) over-ear headphones. They need to be comfortable for long periods of use and, obviously, have decent sound quality. They also need to be usable with a wired connection, like a 3.5mm audio jack or USB. My budget is around £50-60, but I could spend more if there's a big difference in quality. I currently have these headphones: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B077TRXYCN/ They're fine, but the audio quality isn't very good. I need something similar, but with better audio quality. Ideally the level of quality would be similar to the Logitech G430 headset (because I've used that and it sounds good).
  12. Yes, it will work. AMD plans to keep supporting the AM4 socket for a few more years and there's no reason why the next-gen ryzen CPUs won't work. Any good b450 or x470 motherboard will be fine. Although if you don't need to have the motherboard now, you may want to wait until the new CPUs launch because they may release a new chipset with it.
  13. 500W is plenty. I had a 500W PSU with a 1060 and it was fine.
