  1. People tend to love Priscilla (Ignoring her saying the inhabitants being kind, COMIC LINK). I very highly doubt that Priscilla is going to have any sort of mention in DS3. There are only tiny strings that link DS1 and DS2 for them being in the same universe Also DS2 is set long after DS1, so how far apart is the time of DS1 and DS3.
  2. So very recently I had sudden a heat problem with my CPU (See topic) on the day of release of The Division. I've took out my Corsiar Hydro H100 and put in the Intel stock cooler I had in the CPU's box and hey the computer can run for 2 minutes before crashing at CPU temp at 100C. YAY! But what I want to ask is. Have anyone had a massive problem and it was fixed by a spare part you had laying about? Now lets see what CPU cooler to get when I get hold of some money.
  3. Replaced AIO with Intel stock, seems to be running fine. Thanks guys.
  4. Good point but I think with smart phones is it that we are just putting stuff that already exist into to phone since the stuff is small enough now. While things like GPU and CPU are working on literally the nano level. Like with the recent development with '3D SSDs' (I think) or some stacking of memory in the SSD has allowed us to make larger SSDs since making current one's transistors smaller would be too unstable since to too small for us to control for now. Right now we are moving at a decent pace and 4K is still enthusiast level stuff and for 4K to be very reasonable we are going to need a small breakthrough.
  5. So I like a lot of other people was excited for The Division, so I pre-loaded on steam and went to work on the date of release and left my computer on sleep mode and when I got home I started the game and needed to do the ALT+ENTER to put it into window mode to select the language and so the opening cinematic happened and then I fades to black (According to youtube it goes to in game character creation) and after some time it window 10 blue screens me saying 'whea_uncorrectable_error' then shutting down at 10% of the thing it does when it blue screens. I put my hand near my CPU and it is near on fire, it's so damn hot, so wait a bit for it to cool and start up. I log in and go on youtube to watch videos, nothing hard and it does the same blue screen error with the CPU hot in about in about 5-8 minutes. It's a i7-3770K with no overclock. I go to bed, wake up, go to work, get home and turn on my computer and monitor my CPU temp (via Corsair LINK) and it show CPU water cooler pump (Corsair Hydro H100) at 70C-80C and the CPU at 90C-100C so I turn the damn thing off. I've gotten a can of compress air and you know got some dust out (the GTX 680 had a quite a bit in it) and I'm hook the computer back up but then I thought that if you guys saw anything odd about the computer suddenly reaching crashing CPU temps. Thanks.
  6. I wanted my PS3 to be connected to my monitor but my monitor (ASUS VE278Q) only has one HDMI port so I got a Displayport cable and set it all up but when I tried to turn on my monitor the light that is the power button was white, normally it is blue for on and orange for standby. This is the first time this has happened. I tried looking else where but didn't find anything so does Linustechtips community know.
  7. If your not overclocking it should be okay. If you want something you can get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2
  8. In my opinion, you don't need the EVO 250GB SSD, use a smaller one for the boot and program drive(I have a 120GB(Get something around 150GB)). If your not overclocking get a PSU a bit closer to the 420W PCPP is saying your computer will use, get something like a 500W/550W PSU. Save the money or get the i5 6600K on the other build.
  9. 980 ti. As a gamer you want to focus on the GPU then the CPU. A computer may look good but it don't matter if you have a GTX 570 and a i3.
  10. Thing with the Total War games are that you have hundreds of dudes to render, then there is the environment, extra detail, post processing, etc EDIT, YOU MADE A POST WHILE I WAS TYPING: You say that it dips to 45 FPS when you zoom in because with you being zoomed in the game make the dudes look better then if you where zoomed all the way out.
  11. Sounds like something that has happened to me, my computer would start up LED lights go on, the fans spin, Asus comes on the monitor but it would them suddenly shut down and sometimes come up with the American Megatrends CPU over temperature error. Turn it back on it would turn off again. Me I let took off the side panel and put my finger near then on the CPU water cooler pump (Corsair Hydro H100) and it was very warm to the touch so I let the thing cool down. Later I tuned it back on and I was fine and I have haven't gotten this problem again. Maybe I should see if the thermal paste is working properly.
  12. I don't know your specs but here are some mods that improve performance and excluding the config tool makes the game look better. Vivid Fallout - Landscapes - Textures in HD - ORIGINAL SIZE - LOWER RESOLUTION by Hein84 Makes the ground look a lot better and uses less VRAM (Some black magic here) Vivid Fallout - Rocks - Textures in HD - ORIGINAL SIZE - LOWER RESOLUTION by Hein84 Makes the rocks look a lot better and uses less VRAM (Hein84 is a bloody wizard) FAR - Faraway Area Reform (LOD) by SparrowPrince Makes the distance look better and should give you some performance. Fallout 4 Configuration Tool by Bilago Gives you lots of tools some can help performance I.E. Disable some gore, high CPU priority, shadow resolution tweaker, shadow distance tweaker, AA settings, anistropic Filtering settings, grass density.
  13. NPC's fighting each other is quite normal.
  14. "Hey Joe" I said out load to myself for some odd reason. Old systems I've used..... Well I'll get back to you on that to check since I don't use it anymore (mother uses it). I do know it had a old AMD graphics card in it (I think it said ATI back when AMD went with that name)
  15. The chair I'm currently using was when I was helping my father move a desk from my aunt's house to the car trailer. We saw the chair in the storage room next to the desk against the wall, facing the wall. I called out, "Hey are you using this chair against the wall?" "Na, you can take it if you want." So we got the desk in the trailer with the some other furniture, but the chair in the back seats and I got my chair.
