  1. I think the problem with this whole situation is that Battlefront 3 is shaping up to just be a re-skin of Battlefield 4 with a few tweaks here and there, which on its own will probably be a decent enough game (Hell it would probably make a excellent Republic Commando game). However that's not what people wanted. They wanted a new Battlefront game with all the features that made Battlefront 1+2 great and Battlefront 3 simply isn't that. You can understand peoples disappointment, Its like being told that you've won a Ferrari only when it shows up at your drive it's actually a Golf GTI. We should technically be grateful that we got a new car at all (Or a new Star Wars game in this case) Buuut it's not the one we thought we where getting. Not to mention that at the moment there seems to be a worrying lack of content in the main game even by 2015 standards.
  2. Yeah it certainly looks like there's something funky going on with that. Could it have something do with drivers?
  3. Hey this might be the first layout change YouTube has made that hasn't messed everything up.
  4. Holy balls that looks nice, if only more would take note (i'm looking at you Asus with your pimp gold) Interesting that they are even bothering to update the AM3+ platform any more. I didn't think anyone was really buying into it these days, what with it being ancient and the new AMD stuff coming in 2016.
  5. I'm gonna have to agree with this. Bioware tried the open world thing with DAI but the quality of quests and pacing really suffered for it. I've always liked the Witcher series because it's more controlled than other series, allowing the devs to focus on the finer details like diverse quest lines, level design and a responsive story. By making this game open world they risk losing focus and encountering the same problems that DAI had.
  6. Between the horrendous UI updates, broken green lights, early access, that region lock, a dumb recommendation system that keeps telling me to go play terrible FTP games and the god-awful support I've really started to dislike Steam. They really need to get their crap together before continuing to dick around with Steam machines, controllers and other crud no one asked for.
  7. This seems fair enough really, and honestly who doesn't put their games on steam.
  8. Too bad I don't get to keep either of them I'll probably end up driving a cheapo 90s Pegueot 106 for a while, at least until my insurance premiums come down a bit. That and I don't trust myself to not smash it into a wall at some point
  9. Yeah I know that, it was his "us middle class people" comment that got me. Like what, am I too poor for him or something  Yeah that makes sense, I'm leaning towards the Corsa for the reasons you said. Not that I'll be able to own either of them any time soon, these are just the two cars I was learning to drive in. I wont be able to even afford or justify owning a car for a while yet given how expensive insurance is in the UK.
  10. Seriously, what are you trying to get at with that. Have you ever thought that it's simply not practical for the average person living in a British city or town to be driving something like that. Especially those who don't want to be paying through the nose for insurance, road tax, fuel costs and congestion charge
  11. Well balls  Any idea whats up with it. I tried setting the text colour to automatic.
  12. Is it better now? That's the thing though, I'm not really sure. The Fiesta has the better engine and gearbox for sure but the steering and visibility is just so much better on the Corsa. I'm wondering if going with a different engine type would help. Not that I'll be buying either of them any time soon.
  13. So I've recently started learning to drive and I thought it would be fun to compare the two cars I’ve been learning to drive with and see what the forum car buffs make of it. Keep in mind that these are the only two cars I've driven before. The cars in question are… 2013 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Active 2013 Ford Fiesta Titanium (1.0 Start/Stop, not sure if it’s the T-EcoBoost one or not) Interior - The Ford definitely has the better build quality for sure, most of the knobs and switches in the Corsa feel pretty bad, the indicators are especially terrible. However the Fords interior is ridiculously cluttered and looks like ass, so the Corsa has that going for it. The Corsa also has far superior visibility all around and a better driving position to boot. Steering - I definitely prefer the way the Corsa handles, it’s much lighter, more responsive and requires much less wheel movement to get it going where you want it to. Seriously the Fiesta feels like trying to drive a barn around in comparison. It’s simply too heavy and requires too much effort to be enjoyable. Engine - This is where the Corsa falls flat on it’s face. The engine is bad. Really, really, really, really bad. Its incredibly noisy above 2000 RPM and not in a good way. It sounds like an electric blender trying to get through 2 tonnes of toffee, makes me cringe every time. It seems to struggle a bit getting up to speed as well, requiring you to rev the engine a lot. My mum has commented that the car is a hell of a lot slower than her old Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI. The Fiesta's engine on the other hand despite being smaller feels excellent, it’s quiet, sounds pleasant, quick to get going, it just feels smoother over all. I’m not sure how it performs on motorways though, probably not too well given its size. I will say that the Start/Stop feature does get a bit annoying after a while. Gearbox - Again I have to say that the gearbox on the Fiesta feels far superior to the Corsa. The Corsa’s gears are too close, and a little too light for my liking. The biting point also seems a bit high for comfort. Whereas the Fiestas gears are a lot heavier and further apart with a lower biting point. I guess you could say it feels more satisfying to use. Overall - I'm not really sure what one I prefer really, although I’m leaning towards the Corsa. The steering is just so much nicer, and I like having the extra visibility. I assume that going with a different engine would solve most of the problems I have with it as well.
  14. Not forgetting the Snes and the Gamecube ones as well. Anyway, if Ground Zeros is anything to go by it should be a decent port. So I'm not that bothered about having to wait a little longer really, especially if it gives them time smooth out any rough edges.
  15. Given Turtle Beaches reputation I was really expecting them to be garish hunks of plastic but they are actually quite nice. Reminds me a bit of the Cooler Master Quickfire rapid.
  16. Not sure I see the point of this case, the Evolv on the other hand
  17. It wasn't really my first build, but when I moved my system over to a Bitfenix Prodigy I installed my PSU the wrong way up so the fan was pressed right against the bottom of the motherboard tray instead of towards the vent... I didn't notice for a good 30mins after I booted. Bloody lucky nothing was damaged.
  18. To be honest I think that smart watches are more of a awkward transitional phase between smart phones and improved Google Glass style devices or something like that wrist mounded display, much like what PDAs where to smart phones.
  19. I don't mind the logo so much, it's the wrinkly tubes that get me.
  20. Yeah, I may have got a bit to heated and said some dumb things during this little argument. Sorry about that.
  21. Yeah, you're right here as well. Fairness is probably better. Still the point stands, the fact that Homophobia and peoples Homophobic opinions just get pushed aside under "Free Speech" while things like peoples racist opinions are deemed flat out wrong. Why is it such a terrible thing to discriminate against someone's skin colour, but discriminating against someone for being gay is a matter of opinion. Reading that back I sound like 5 year old crying for attention, but ya know.
