  1. Thanks Piney, i'll send them an email to check with them! Will also update this thread with the reply in case someone else is curious update - ASRock is neither confirming or denying that 4000 series works with B450. What this means is it can work but should be done at your own risk.
  2. Hi Guys, I'm building a small media server and wanted to check if these 2 parts are compatible ? The official website of ASRock doesn't mention it but a lot of online forums do. The reason I'm going for this combination and not 3200G is to ensure I have ECC memory support.
  3. Thanks mate, this is helpful! I'll update here if this works once I'm home from work.
  4. Thanks for the response vaiwalker. I have been running on overclock to 4.1ghz since the start (mobo's bios auto settings). That is a good idea, I will try doing that by reseating both ram and cmos battery. Is there anything else that I should check for ? I was thinking it could be a PSU issue.
  5. Hi guys, I've ended up with trouble of my pc recently and basically what happened is listed below. It was running smooth and fine and I booted up a game which bugged out and started up multiple instances and literally froze everything, the CPU, RAM and HDD all running at 100%. I tried CTRL+ALT+Delete etc but given that CPU was already running 100%, it did not work out. I ended up doing a force shutdown(impatience) and when I tried to bootup again, it powered on for a less than a second, turns off and then powers-on on itself without me hitting a button. I tried resetting the PSU, letting it cool down, waiting 12 hours before trying again, but nothing seems to be working. Specs: i5 4690k 16GB Ram GTX 970 Corsair RM850i PSU Please help! and do let me what I can do to fix everything. Thanks in Advance!
  6. the 2x140mm fans are the onces which came included with the case.. some sort of corsair led fans..
  7. Hey guys! i have a 780t cabinet which comes with 2 front mounted 140mm fans.. now i recently bought 3 120mm fans to front mount them for better intake overall but then the 2x140mm fan going to waste would be a shame.. So since i cannot add these fans anywhere else i though i would do a push+pull setup for my h105 which is top mounted. since h105 is a 240mm rad i am thinking if it will work ? Currently the setup is in a push. if i were to add a pull of 2x140mm would it actually be helpful ? Thanks in advanced!
  8. what about the windows 10 and dx12 ? i heard that you would be able to combine two completely different cards with them or something.
  9. Hi All! So i have a Zotac GTX 970, the small one and i recently bought myself a gtx960 by asus the 2gb edition. The reason i bought it was because it was on sale of about 50% off than the market value. Now i will be pretty much reselling it as ofc GTX970 is better than 960 but is there a way i can combine both using SLI etc ? I heard that i can do it on windows 10 but i am not sure what are the pro's and con's of the same. Please help.
  10. yep i did that and it worked great! thanks for the help everyone.. it seems to run pretty great now.
  11. Taking a picture is really hard as it is inside and my camera is not able to focus at is quite well. I will try the connecting with power cables though. Just connecting with power cable and turning it on will do ?
  12. Hey guys! So i recently got myself a Corsair H105 and being the total newbie that i am with liquid cooling it was an obvious choice to go with an AIO cooler but unknowingly i screwed in longer screws into it. Now i am a total newbie with any kind of radiator related cooling and as far as i have searched i think i have only damaged a few fins of it but i would like to confirm this before i add this in my rig and spill its life juices all across the pc(a little exaggerated but you get my point) so please suggest how i can leak test a pre-filled AIO liquid cooler's radiator ( the newbie friendly version ) Thanks!
  13. Right! Didnt know there was such a card out there.. now that i know what its called i can get it. Thanks!
