    So, I've watched all the reviews now. LTT chose the 7950X here, with DDR5-6000. GN used a 12700k with DDR5-6000, HUB used a 5800x3D with DDR4-3200 And Jay used a 12900K - He didn't post his bench specs I believe. LTT's CP2077 scores line up WAY too neatly with the 1440p scores of the other reviewers to not be a mistake, especially considering the lack of actual 1440p benches for that game in LTT's video. Everything else seems to line up except for a few weird results from AMD's side but I think that could be windows version/Drivers

    Update: It only happens with 1440p and 4k youtube videos, as well as any .webm format content. This is on Chrome, and Chromium Edge. This does NOT happen on Firefox. It also does NOT happen when hardware acceleration is disabled.

    No, neither of my monitors support HDR. One of them supports free sync, but even when it's disabled this happens. It only happens when both monitors are enabled (extended view)

    Try running a simple GPU benchmark like furmark and see if the issue still occurs. If so, there might be damage. Since it still boots, I would also try re-seating the GPU to see if that helps. Check all power cables as well

    Yes, it's definitely compatible. Just make sure you kept your SSD screws for your motherboard! If you want to install windows on it, there's some nice cloning software out there for free with some digging. It lets you duplicate your entire boot drive so windows will just boot off of it.

    So I've recently noticed a strange bug. It definitely doesn't seem like intended behavior. Whenever I load a youtube video, or any sort of video file format, or video content (not games), there's a 1 second delay, and then it looks like the brightness of the video has been increased. Almost like a white film or filter. This doesn't happen when I only have one monitor enabled in windows. I've tried disabling freesync, disabling custom color modes, Any other monitor specific color modes. I've tried resetting my drivers to default settings, and it keeps happening. I can't find anything in windows settings about auto-video quality settings or anything like that, so I'm honestly quite confused. If anyone else has a similar issue or knows what it might be, I'd greatly appreciate some help. Usually I can dig into this kind of thing but it seems so odd.

    (TLDR; Update your bios before attempting anything. This sounds obvious but a lot of threads in my google adventures clearly didn't do this first. Also this is a gamble, so if your board doesn't support it then a bios update first will really save you some hassle.) I just spent a few hours straight with a Z97-A motherboard and the absolute AWFUL hoops I tried jumping through just to figure it out. So I hope this helps, cause I was kicking myself for too long with the simplest solution. First, I installed my drive, no problem. It didn't show up in bios or windows, but I found that I needed to change a setting in the bios to enable m.2 compatibility as opposed to pci-e x2 mode. After that windows detected it, so I went ahead and cloned my drive. After rebooting and trying to boot from it, I realized it still wasn't there in the bios. So I did some searching. Most people said that z-97 doesn't support booting from NVME, only some boards do, etc. So now I'm really panicking. I turned off secure boot and CSM in bios and was able to install windows from a USB drive. Except it wouldn't continue the install, it would only loop in bios and restart the USB drive's installer. At this point I had no idea what to do. The drive showed up in windows just fine so I could load it with programs and everything. Format it and assign it a letter. I just couldn't boot from it because the bios wouldn't recognize it. The BIOS So I updated my bios and BAM it showed up instantly, finished windows installation and loaded fine. So I thought okay, now I'm going to wipe it and re-clone my current boot drive. BSOD right away. So It doesn't like being cloned, but it worked with a fresh install. So now I'm here on a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB and it's running flawlessly. So if you're doing this, make sure you've updated your bios, and that your windows install is fresh for the sake of compatibility.

    Check the Qualified Vendors list for your motherboard and try disabling XMP altogether. That did help me boot in once. Otherwise, best of luck!

    Thanks for all the replies! Sorry this is late, but I did some digging around and sure enough, my kit of ram is not on the QVL for my motherboard. So I'm going to try and return my kit and/or get a new kit that's supported. Do you think a bios update in the next few weeks could help?

    Well it decided to work, not going to screw with it for a while, at least not until a few bios updates get pushed out.

    so I literally changed the ram frequency back and forth a whole bunch, and I guess it just worked, cause it just booted again with both dimms.

    The board only has 2 slots. And yes I installed the latest bios update.

    So I just picked up a Ryzen R5 1500x for my girlfriend's build, and I have the weirdest issue. I went with Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 ram for this build. 2x4gb dimms. Windows WILL SOMETIMES MAYBE boot with both DIMMS installed. But It's only happened 3 times since I put it together. With 1 DIMM it works fine. Regardless of which DIMM I use or which slot I use it in. If there's one, it boots. Can anyone help? MSI B350M Gaming pro motherboard. EDIT: The 3 times I've gotten it to boot into windows with both dimms installed was after booting in with 1 dimm, installing all the driver software for the whole computer fresh, turning it off and installing the second DIMM. I thought it was fine but then I went to overclock and had to wipe my cmos. Back to the 1 dimm issue.
